I caught Zaptos with a pokeball back in the day on Blue. I also caught Mewtwo with a great ball...I must have been lucky as hell when I was playing that game

Don't ask me how it happened, but i actually caught moltres and articuno in my first three pokeballs!

Yup. I have the habit of just using pokeballs because ultra balls are more expensive

man its almost impossible to catch them wtih regular pokeball usually great or ultra will after u weaken the pokemon with a status change or after throwing endless ultra balls after it.

I got suicine (I didn'tspell that right) after about 20 great balls, 12 ultra balls, and 50some pokeballs.

I caught Kyogre with a pokeball once, but that was after around 20 turns of throwing ultra balls and then timer balls. Legendaries are so hard to catch with regular pokeballs because they have such a low capture rate. More info on it: http://www.serebii.n...s/capture.shtml

never caught a legendary w/ a pokeball, i think i never even bothered with anything less than a great ball after my first couple gym battles.

I caught Mewtwo at the start of the battle with only one Pokeball. I think I was lucky since I was just doing it for fun.

No, but I've heard of someone catching Kyogre with a Repeat Ball without it in their Dex. 8D

I caught Mewtwo with a pokeball in good 'ol blue version 5 years back lol. Ever since then I've only been catching legendaries with pokeballs->ultra balls when i feel lazy. Having an emulator makes it too easy though

wow...you guys are lucky last time when i tried to catch my Kyogre with a lot of Ultra balls i could never catch it so i just killed it in 2 hits
