I caught Mewtwo with a pokéball but it took me 28 pokeballs and 50 potions to finally get him. My poor pikachu got so hurt

lolz i caught those legendary with pokeball too since i was keeping my master ball for fun 
its tough but still able to do it after like 4-5 tries with mass status effect on them lol

i can cath every thing with a pokeball once i was even called the dog master cause i caught them with pokeball very hard unless you cope out and use mean look

I had groudon asleep and at one HP, so I just threw a pokeball and caught him. Talk about luck.

i caught "all" legegendary pokemons using only pokeball..i dunno why.. but IMO i think pokeball has higher rate of catching pokemonthan any other balls.. except masteball of course.. haha..

I think my I caught Moltres, or Zapdos, or Articuno in Yellow version. I kept throwing ultra balls, but it didn't work. But I threw a Poke ball and I caught the Pokemon [on my third Poke ball], which was very astonishing. I couldn't catch Mewtwo in that game, so my cousin caught using a Poke ball. Didin't know how he did it. To catch a Legendary using a weak Poke ball, it'll be the luck of the draw. It takes luck to catch a legendary with a Great ball, let alone a Poke ball. It's all luck.

its ver difficult to capture legendary pokemons in a pokeball.. to much time to take..

i have cught lots of legendaries using pokeballs they work best on most of the legends next to master balls

I've never tried catching a legendary pokemon with a pokeball. Maybe it'll be a good test for me, to see if I can do it.

I caught zapdos, articuno, and the others in Fire Red Ver. With 45-62 Ultra ball/pokemon....!!!! (i lost the prototype ball lol)

Hahaha! Excluding Safari Balls (Which are a necessary curse in my opinion) I've caught every single Pokémon in a Pokéball. And by that, I mean every pokémon I've caught (All up to Celebi) and a heap of the Hoenn.It's so much more challenging and worthwhile to catch the most rare pokémon in a puny little plain Pokéball. That'll teach them to be legendary. Hmph. lol

I catched my Pearl Palkia with a Pokéball.And in Sapphire, I somehow managed to stuff Kyogre into a Luxury Ball, which has the same catch rate as a normal Pokéball.So, I get some awesome points for it or what?

Yeah.. Mewtwo...I saved right next to him so that when I tried and ran out of pokeballs, I'd just restart.I caught him on (I think) the... 23rd try?
