okami is wonderful. You should slap yourself for even asking if it is worth buying. It is more than worth it.

Okami is probably one of the best PS2 games ever made. It flows so nicely, and it's so beautiful. Anyone who hasn't played it... well, get it. now.Shame it didn't sell well in Japan. Poor Clover. =( Makes no sense at all.

It looks really cool but to it me it seems one of those games its good to play for a few minutes or maybe even an hour or 2 and get that experiance but then i would get bored of it.

Amongst game os similar gameplay I would say Okami even gave Twilight Princess a good run for my money. Dare I say I enjoyed it even a slight more the twilight Princess but not as much as OOT. Okami is that good gamplay-wise and the artwork and music is beautiful.

Ok, to clarify a couple things before I start. Capcom DISSOLVED clover. That means everyone has their jobs, they're just back in the main capcom company. Anyway, Okami is awesome. It's gameplay rivals zelda, only instead of a million and one items you, have your trusty celestial brush, which makes it so you don't need a cluttered up inventory screen. There are a plethora of sidequests to do to earn praise, money, and other things, which super increase the replay value. It's also PACKED full of things to do normally. The artwork is amazing, and the story is quite incredible. The characters are well realized, quirky, and unique. The gameplay is very entertaining too. Most of the fun in Okami is actually figuring out how to use what you learn, because they don't hold your hand like they do in most games (like zelda), and the usefulness of the brush techniques is amazingly diverse. This should be a game every ps2 owner should have if they're not a closed minded gamer. It's just that good

What an unfortunate mistake. Dirge was horrible. I haven't played Okami yet, but after reading everyone's comments, I might try to snag it on ebay if I can find if for cheap.I wanted this game so bad, but mistakenly bought Dirge of Cerberus.

Buy the game now, and i mean now I just finished the last boss fight and it is amazing!!! Worth playing at least twiceIts a real shame there won't be another one

Okami is an amazing game in so many ways. I loved it and even though it doesn't have that much replayabilty it still fun to just sometimes hop on and draw a big ol' you know what =P It's a great game, great story, great everything!

Yes really Okami just is a really great game. The only real downside to the game was the whole lack of difficulty when it came to fighting in the game, but it really seemed to make up for that with the numerous puzzles in the game. The only other thing that could have been improved on a bit were the mini-games, but even those were pretty fun to do once you got used to them.

okami was one of my fav games.. although its easy to defeat bosses... cept for yami( the final) the battle system is simple... storyline is cool... and its long =D i defenatly reccomand it even if its not really an rpg

buy it, it is brilliantly designed and the gameplay is fantastic. using the brush is easy as well but can be confusing at times, but still, it is one of the best games on the ps2

i saw the trailer, you get to play as the dog?, i like the graphics but i guess i'm not satisfied with the gameplay

This is one of if not the best PS2 game imo.
