From my experience in playing this game after playing the first and second megaman battlenetwork games. Mega man star force was just a bit easy compared to the network series. Though you can only move left, center and right part of the screen and the enemy can move anywhere on the panel stage, as well as needing to raise your shields (Which is a new feature to the series) at times when an unavoidable attack is coming, the bosses and enemies are hardly a threat as the bosses on the network series. I think it's going to be just like all the other megaman games where they'll increase the difficulty till they hit the level of cheapness.Oh and I confirmed it in the game that starforce is not connected to the network series. Everyone uses air waves instead of networks. Mmm... think of it that instead of connecting through the internet through broadbands, cable and dial ups, they use wireless connection. Instead of a world inside the net, the wave world is all around our world. And one other thing, I think capcom wants to do something different with star force that they don't want everyone to think it's battlenetwork by having a really different rockman and a different Net (still my preferred japanese name of lan). Rockman being gungho and totally mature than the boy scout rockman we all know as well as Geo being so negative and close compared to the innocent and typical boy protaginst Net.
