Well, we know that he'd be smart if it weren't for the crayon that is lodged in his brain, but that's why so many people love him! I go for Homer Simpson, because Peter is no match for Homer in terms of funniness.

The way I see it, Homer has this naive neglect towards the family and the people around him, while Peter tends to be purposively destructive. For example when Homer goes parasailing and the rope breaks and he falls into the cabin and onto Alec Baldwin. Then compare it to when Peter purchases a catapalt and flies into the air, nearly crashing into that house with nice and fragile "Stuff" as he calls it. Both are funny, but Homer is so good at his work, he doesn't need to do much of anything to get a laugh. Peter works a little too hard, I think.

Eventhough he's not in the debate, having Fry as a potential third person makes a good arguement. Fry somewhat mirrors Homer Simpson mostly because they are created by the same artist but also because of their naivity and idiocy. I could never forget the day he went into his own body and destroyed himself just to rid himself of worms or how he became his own grandfather. However I still take prescedence with Homer as being the better, though Fry is still awesome.

Well there you go. Brian and Stewie are different characters entirely. These characters are funny, but comparing them to Homer Simpson is like an apples to oranges comparison.

tough question...as both homer and peter are both dumb and stupid...i think i would go for Peter Griffin Becos he is very funny. He even sings to entertain the aydience ^^...Cant touch me HA that was a good song
