Simpsons is for kids!I love family guy because 'most' of the storylines fit into everyday life. It is best because it has a dog who drinks, smokes and has a human gf! Beat that simpsons! PETER FOR LIFE!

Yes, and Family Guy contains a rather highbrow, sophisticated sense of humor akin to that found in New Yorker.Simpsons is for kids!
Since when did Family Guy have storylines?I love family guy because 'most' of the storylines fit into everyday life.

Homer is definitely the better father, but personally I think Peter is funnier. In my humble opinion it's a tie, because they're both so amusing and unintelligent and charming in the most disgusting way.But if I truly had to choose, I'd go with Homer. I'm a sucker for the sappy Daddy.

I always loved Family Guy, I kinda hated the Simpsons, but now Family Guy is off the air and the Simpsons are being rebroadcasted again, I kinda begin liking the guy;-)

Isn't douche why we gathered around the television to watch these shows in the beginning?I have to go with Peter Griffin because he is a focal point of the "Family Guy" family, and he's certainly more entertaining than his yellow counterpart.gotta go with homer he aint as much of a douche as peter

Homer by far is the better of the two characters since he is funnier and just someone I could picture myself hanging out with. Peter is sometimes just too dumb for his own good. If Peter were real he would probably under the care of some institution.

i'd have to go with peter griffin. i find family guy in general funnier than simpsons because of the randomness in the show. even though they're both random to begin with, family guy will always come up with bits that you'll never expect. and with peter griffin being my second reason behind watching family guy (stewie being an obvious first), he will always pull something out of his armpit that will make you laugh everytime

Peter Griffin is the greater icon for his sporadic quirks. Homer does make me laugh though. Just not enough as Peter Griffin.

I like Family Guy better overall, but like Homer better as a character.Really, the main point of Peter is to be obnoxious. It's part of the joke, but it means the character himself is less likable. Not really a bad thing given the intent.

I would definitely go Homer. That is just the way he is. Whereas Peter just tries to hard to be funny. Plus Bart helps Homer as well versus Peter's children do not do much for himself. Stewey however is an awesome creation and is the best out of them all
