i got it right when it came out i got every pokemon but celebi. I still remember the rumors how to get celebi. I picked chikorita because in my version for some reason if you didn't evolve it. You could teach it fly

i never heard of that kind of thing in silver version was it a glitch i did over 5 to 6 new games and i chose chikorita at least twice since when could you teach it how to fly?i got it right when it came out i got every pokemon but celebi. I never had Silver. I had Gold and Crystal. A couple of my friends had Silver and I just traded and battled with them.

i also think isilver was the best great story and pokemon the later ones got too silly with the pokemon

Yeah I bought pokemon silver. But it was for my brother. But yeah of course I got totodile as my beginner pokemon.

It's my current Pokemon game at the moment. I'm pre-ordering Diamond to see how it's like, but at the moment, still playing Silver.

Silver is ok i suppose - at least its way better than the 3rd generation pokemon games. At least the pokemon were still original

I had Gold, but its not much different from Silver. I havn't played it in a bit, but my starter was always Totodile(Sp?). I always ended up with a great 4 move combo. Surf, Hydro Pump, Slash and I forget the other one <<; I Would have to say that the pokemon were still original, but after this one they must have started to run out of Ideas.

i have pokemone silver it is really fun i choose chaqueta. he is the strongest but it is really hard to beat bugsy in the gym

For me personnaly, Silver was a bit of a let down. Not that much had basically changed.Could easily be skipped in my opinion.
