Give us the ability to go to three different worlds, two or three continents on each. Allow you to create your little avi guy. Allow you to get on planes, ride the ships, and shift from day to night depending on the time. Have another world for online play that had 5 continents. Allow for trainers to group up, and for us to join different groups of trainers.That would pretty much cover it for me

You should be able to see a hall of fame with each character from each pokemon game...I also think that they should make an MMORPG for Pokemon.

yes i liked the day/night but i think they doing good job would be awsome if you could battle and trade online tht would be cool make it alot easyer to trade for certain pokemon and fun to battle and show other people how to really battle

the perfect pokemon games. being able to Customize the main char. like every one say the night and day is cool, and being able to start new story line.

Online play. Online play. Online play. Online play. Oh yeah, online play. But it should have should have optional sleep clause, battle timeout, and all that other jazz. Also, original Pokemon, and not just evolutions of the old one, especially if they're crappy looking evolutions. :|

It should be something like Guild Wars, except Pokemon-style. Pretty damn nice, with all the meadows and pokemon doing whatever..

The perfect pokemon game...Well, firstly there should be a girl and boy option, and you should be able to decide how you want to look like, there should be WiFi, so you can trade pokemon with people all over the world and you could visit their world. You should be able to decorate your room and have a secret room or what its called 
All the pokemon should be available and you should be able to visit Hoen and Kanto and go to all the gyms 
You should also be able to get mew and the pokemon should be animated and in colour!! *dreams on*

My idea of a perfect pokemon game? Let's put it this way:First of all, the storyline needs (major) fixes, like the reason you actually travel the whole world in 200 hours just to cach every last pokemon .Personally I'd like the main story to go on between the main character and a rival. The rival should be older(and way stronger) than the main character and should have done something (way too) bad to someone in the start of the game, like stealing some precious belongings(Some kind of item to summon the "ultimate"?). The main character fights back(starter pokemon recieved before that), but loses and gets mad(I think it should be a boy. If you want a good storyline you can't have such a choice as girl/boy.), and he is from that day on determined to retreive those items and to defeat his rival. On the way you face a lot of obstackles that challenge you(a lot). Everything from solving mysterious puzzles to chasing villains.In the end you fight that rival, and if you by any means manage to win he'll just say that cachy, always famous sentence: "It's too late!".Then that "ultimate" being is summoned, and it's out of control(as if we expected anything else ) and it runs away. However, your rival is defeated, so the credits plays whatsoever, and when you restart your game you've suddenly got all the way home and you hear some news about a "big pokemon roaming the lands of ..." then you're off.. again! Storyling concluded As for the gameplay I think aiming pokeballs with the stylus will be a good thing. Also, some anime style cutscenes here and there. Improved battle system and new attacks new pokemon and new places to go. And improved battle and field graphics. Hmm.. Yeah that's my idea of the perfect pokemon game.

The only thing I liked from pokemon Mystery Dungeon was that you start off as a random pokemon. I think they should sort of have the same thing, but have it like this. When you start the game you fill out a short questionare. When you have completed it a pokemon at random is selected that follows the answers slightly or exactly and that is the only pokemon you can start with. Yeah yeah harsh but its nice to get what is your personality!

For me, no game will EVER surpass Gold & Silver, they were the best in the series, I never got bored playing them...*SIGH*Looking forward for the new pokemon games, hope they're worth it

There should be a way in which you can a.) catch all pokemon available (even the starters) and b.) have a way to evolve pokemon that only evolve in trade for people like me who don't have an easy way to trade. I have to play through both versions a number of times and trade with myself to complete a pokedex.

the perfect pokemon game hmmm, well MY pokemon perfect game would be playing like the anime, you play as ash, and plays through the game just like in the anime

Don't read this outloud, it's long.In my opinion the best Pokémon game would include all the Regions, no Nintendo event only Pokémon(since I live in Canada so I'm kinda biast), the same battle formula as D/P(it sounds cool from what I've read, Also Hitmonchan benefits.), wild Zangoose and Houndour, other methods for evolving Trade EVO Pokémon(like a trade stone or something), one starter(or more) per Regeon, Mew/Celebi/Manaphy gotten through ingame events, the ability to cutmize your charecter, Zangoose able to learn E-Punches(Lightning and Kat need E-Moves for comabating Ghost types that aren't SP Attack), easier to find runners, two bikes(Mach and Acro) in your bag at the same time, Mud Slopes for hatching(or a town like Saffron), Crystal like Pokémon Animations, at least one Shiny per game(like a Red Gyarados or something), gender differences that are notaceable, TR returns with more clones, custimizable rivel, the option to have a Pokémon follow you(just one though two at the most), contests like in D/P and maybe a battle round like in the show, able to hook up to the computer for bonuses like new Pokémon(it would be hard to pull off though), Wifi/Internet battles(For those who don't have Wifi capabilities), decent storyline, more then one E4(one per region perhaps), special eggs(like the one you get in Crystal), special Pokémon(like the Extremespeed Dratini), being able to catch all the Pokémon without external trading(like some NPC says I'll trade my Bulbasaur for you Charmander), save anytime(even in battles), being able to choose lotto numbers(but only once per week after that ID numbers), Card Fip(my all time favorite), Rock Smash and Cut nolonger nescesary to continue with the story(I HATE those HMs), a Radio(I really miss that), new Pokémon exclusive to the new Region, and when you finally catch all the Pokémon you get to be the E4 Champion the next time you beat them but unlike the previous champion you can roam and Trainers will challenge you randomly.That's my dream Pokémon game. It makes alot of people happy and it's different.

kujo that's a nice sum up of a perfect game but i'll add one more to that list -- the storyline. It's not much really, few things happen in all the games. A crime syndicate appears that you destroy and sometimes a legendary pokemon appears that you have to quell or capture. It needs some more emotion and memorable characters to hate and love

What do you mean?You can heal them yourself??? Potions? Ether? Elexir?They didnt put this in the game but being able to heal your pokemon yourself woulda been kool as. I wish they put that in.

well, my perfect game is. ... all regions, all pokemon, ofcourse all gymleaders. day and night thing, like in daimond and pearl. and play with ash start with pikachu, just like anime.i got good memory's of pokemon yellow, my pikachu know's surf 
and will start in pallettown, and then you will go through all the regions, ec.oh yeah, and 3d ofcourse.
