Yeah, I don't like the rivals eather!! There sometimes so hard to beat, not to mention Gray in the old versions, when your at the pokemon legue!!! But the good thing is that they give a lot of money and exp. points! So it's worth it!!

A perfect pokemon game would be portable (of course, probably for the DS) have all the pokemon, all the gym leaders, all the regions, be un-hackable, and change the music please. The music in the Gameboy versions (R,B,Y,G,S) didn't seem so... childish? as the music does in the ones for GBA. That really upset me when pokemon went to GBA and the music changed the way it did. I though it would have orchestrated music like Golden Sun or something like it was in the anime.

Oh boy where should I start on this topic. Well first off I think there should be a choice between what team you want to be on when you begin the game such as the good guys that are normal trainers, But also Team Rocket, Team Magma, or Team Aqua. That may be a bit difficult to code on a handheld cartridge seeing they would have to code in different storylines. Anyhow, I think you should be also to start out with any of the normal starters if you choose the good guy side, Pokemon like lets say a ghost type or a good evilish pokemon for team rocket. Any water types or ice types for team aqua, and of course any good fire or rock types for team magma. As for playing as the good guy all three evil teams should be put into the storyline to fight and foil their plans. For the evil sides plot I'd have to say just struggling against the hero's to complete the plans of the organization. Yet again I know this will take massive coding and would probably be needed on a high tech gaming system lol, anyhow but I think all pokemon should be able to be caught and of course the gym leaders, regions, and just in general anything that a pokemon fanatic like me would ever need a pokemon game

You guys very lucky and rich... I don't even have a GameBoy... I have a computer only. I hope that I can download a useable NDS Emulator and Pokemon Diamond ROM. Anyway, which starter you like the most?? I like Naetle at the beginning, but I found that it is too lousy, Hikozaru is nice but ugly.... AND I WON'T CHOOSE THE FATTY ENPERUTO!!

I think there should be more story AFTER you beat the Elite Four(Why's it called the Elite Four? There's more than four of them.) instead of walk walk walk walk walk walk OMG A POKEMON! Oh, ive got it, walk walk walk walk walk.

ok it should be like every pokemon game combine, u pick which journey to tak in any region(Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Fiore, and Shinou) and u can pla as team aqua or magma or w/e bad guy is in diamond and peral and u can be 1 of the gym leaders and go thro wat they had to to get to a gym leaderthen u can pla online wit the pokemon u raised and get to pick if u wanna pla against any1 or at ur rank cuz i hate loosin to peeps wit all lvl. 100 and im at like 20anyway thatd be awesome

Hey, what if other than giving your pokemon commands on what to use as it's attack, what if they add other commands like "evade" to help make your pokemon try to evade the attack or stand your "stand your ground" to make them stay where they are, or "jump" (c'mon, you gotta know what this is for). That'd be cool because as much as I like pokemon, the fact that you can't control their movements is frustrating. Although you can only command them, not actually control them with the D-pad or something cuz that'd take the fun out of Pokemon I think.

I know what else would make it awsome!The ability to use the microphone to use attacks! It'd be all like "Pikachu! THUNDERBOLT!!" and then he'd (she'd) do it!

my perfect pokemon game would be like this:- 3D battles (the world would be 2D as before)- 6 slots instead of 4 (moves)- the story of ash (from pallet to the last TV epidodes)- better graphics- interactive battles, not the system of RPG (ever played digimon world 1? it has battles with good interactivity 
)- more secrets to find like tons of legendary pokemon ehehanyway i know that if this game is goin to be made, its goin to be like in 10 years lol

Wow, the microphone thing sounded really good, but I doubt that's going to happen.Hmm.. well, I'd like a not-FF stylish battle system the system with TURNS.You first - then I - then you and so on.It'd be cool to have it.. more.. hmm.. don't know the right words.

Oh, I have a WONDERFUL suggestion. I know it sounds crazy, but how about a game that is exactly like Yellow/Red/Blue/Gold/Silver/Crystal/Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen? You know, instead of this garbage like Mystery Dungeon. I mean, Pokemon games have already made money through the traditional gaming. Now, why go and screw it up with these poor excuses for games like Mystery Dungeon? I haven't played Ranger, but it doesn't look like it would be any good either. Sorry, I know I'm being extremely biased towards the 2 games, but I just hate these spinoff style games.

i agree with shadow. there's a reason why they made so many pokemon games...because they work. i think that the mystery dungeon & ranger games look a bit silly, but hey. thats just my opinion

I had this weird dream where pokemon was an MMO but instead of owning pokemon, people had to fight them.How does that sound? (although it kinda does defeat the purpose of pokemon.

I would say getting rid of that whole dull battle system, something closer to MMBN battle style, its just so boring.............and different upgrades, like armor that can come off and on........

i think new pokemon should have all the pokemon and trainers&gyms and places. also you should be able to buy the moves for your pokemon for e.g. you could give a fire blast to an onix.

There was this game in the N64 where you could almost command Pikachu. It was cute, but not very good game. I want a pokemon game where you play as a Pokemon Coordinator, you know, like May in the series.yah and not a turn game it should be like the show head on colisions and like dungeon mixing attacks but on the spot like comanding two attacks and being able to doge but the coolest thing will be using a micto voice command your pokemon.
