i would have to go with wizards or barbarians because both are awesome classesbut this topic should have been a poll

Human. 5 ranks in Shadow Dancer, and 12 in Sorcerer.I will never play as anything else but a human Sorcerer/SD. It's just so amazingly, stupidly fun. The human race gets all those extra ability points and bonus feats, the sorcerer is the battle-ready magic user, and the shadow dancer lets me do all the fun stuff *coughhideinplainsightcough*.

Usually Ninja.I'm not really a ninja person, but I like the idea of being fast and hitting hard, which is generally what a ninja class offers.I'm currently replaying Tales of the World Radiant Mythology, and I'm a fighter... who's just simply badass.

Shadowdancer/Monk: After a few levels of monk, you can dodge most things, and shadowdancer takes care of the rest. And spinkicking someone from out of nowhere is hilarious.Dragoon: Jump attack. And the great armor and power certainly help.Mages: Especially in the Tales games. Indignation and Explosion take care of everything by themselves.

I'm always attracted to elf-like characters (assuming archers?), but end up using magic-users (wizards, healers, summoners, etc.) most of the time.A combination would be nice ^^

I almost always end up with some magic casting class, melee classes just don't have any appeal for me.Though, it's kind of sad that quite a lot of mage type classes nowadays don't require any skill or thinking ability to use, they just end up as a ranged version of massive damage dealing.

I always pick Mage. Sometimes summoners, but yeah the magic using classes, mostly mages.
