No I have never finished Mario Bros 3. In my opinion it was the hardest Super Mario Bros game.

With all the new awesome games, such as Advance Wars DS, I have to say that I haven't been playing "old stuffs" recently. But still, the replay value of Super Mario Bros. 3 is great. I just love opening the emulator and attempt a speed-run, just to accidentally fall down a trap pit - Raccoon suit.The headaches are all worth it... just take it out on Bowser.

Yes, i beat it. its a great game, with this new options in the game like the puzzlez, flute, etc. I saw this video in You tube that you should check, a guy beat the game in a record time. I dont think that i can write the URL here... (Forum rules) so look for it in you tube.

Ah, yes. Super Mario Bros. 3. Quite possibly the greatest game ever made. It had it all: 'shrooms, evil 'shrooms, little guys that wear 'shrooms for hats, a land where everything is big, stars, those little leaves that turn you into some strange racoon/plumber hybrid. Truly, video games have fallen. To be honest, it was SMB3's fault, for setting the bar so high.Join in me in a discussion of its awesomeness.

The Raccoon <-> Statue suit was awesome and should be brought mack for SSB Brawl. I love that game. Nostalgia for the win, says I!

Oh, the Tanooki? That's one of the awesome powerups, and I'm so glad that it is possible to get one in certain levels, with the large block, and it's not like the Frog Suit.Although it is damn fun to play the airship as a frogThe Raccoon <-> Statue suit was awesome and should be brought mack for SSB Brawl. If you use those nice whistles (BTW, trivia, it has the same tune as the Legend of Zelda's recorder. Same sound producer, I believe), one in any level and one in world 9/warp world, you'll go to world 8, the final world. Unfortunately, you will have few powerups. You could try warping to 6 first to get the hammer brother costume. World 7 is very difficult, sometimes.I love SMB3 but sadly I could never beat that game.
Someone, make something better.

I agree with Gris there. The Tanooki suit is pretty good. The thing with the Statue and all, lets the enemies pass right by you. Too bad it has a time limit...

It's a great mario i loved this one when i was a child was my favorite, better all the way than the ugly SMB2, i didnt liked that game, if im not wrong and my memory works fine i think i finished that game, i loved running then press repeteadly a button to make mario fly with the racoon suit... the best was the "S" you had the chance to clear a stage with that, all flying and no problems, except cave stages...

I didnt liked one thing, was it a flute, then one that allowed you to go to another world? it was too good, i dont like things that make games shorter

No. Galaxy does not rival Super Mario Bros. 3. Galaxy wishes that it could even be half the game that SMB3 is. SMB3 is like a tall mountian, and all other games are hills that you compare to the mountain. Some of those hills (Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask comes to mind) are pretty damn tall, but they all pale in comparison to Mt. Quite possibly the best Mario game ever to grace our time...and there to come....uhh...it was a great game.
