Probably, as much as I'd hate to believe it. After all, where does all the meat come from? Do they transport cows from our world or something?A note, in one of the episodes, one of the characters (not from the main cast) did try eating a tentacool.

As I recall, there was a Pokedex entry about Farfetch'd being endangered in the anime because people hunted them for food.It reminded me of America's passenger pigeon in the 19th century.

although it may be weird, it seems like they eat pokemon, but in one episode, where they tried to eat magikarp, they couldn't because the scales of magikarp anre hard..

Pokemon have to be eaten, ya know? People in the Pokemon show get meat for food, and there's no normal animals, just Pokemon. So they have to be eating Pokemon! (Unless... THEY'RE CANNIBALS! GRAARLG!

bleah! i would never imagine eating a pokemon cause they have feelings and emotions, i think of pikachu making he's pitiful look for not being devoured in front of me, snif! but pokemon can eat pokemon though...

Yeah, they do eat the pokemon, but some pokemon are off limits like cats and dogs are in America. Some parts of pokemon are eaten while keeping the pokemon unharmed though. Everything else can not be touched upon.

If you have played Diamond and gone to the place where you earn the steel gym badge go into the library go to the top floor and read some of the books on those shelves one of them will state that humans do eat pokemon and you should throw whatever you don't eat in the river or else you'll be cursed and so on I also have to agree with with not eating pikachu who knows what electrical effects it could have on you

I think i read somewhere that magicarps were deemed worthless for lack of battle abilities and inedible... maybe they do eat pokemon, pokemon are animals after all.although it would be quite hard to eat an onix, or even worse, a steelix
