Actually, I believe that there are normal animals in the Pokemon world. When the SS Anne sank, you could see underwater, and there were ordinary fish in there as well. But, yeah, maybe they do eat aPokemon after all...

well in the cartoon serie never happen that, but maybe could be, coz many of them are "animals" in our world, so maybe they can be eaten

to be honest, i can see a few flaws that aren't mentioned.how do pokemon reproduce (i dont want faffy answers like they give) since they have no reproductive organs (mamalian ones at least) and do they all come from eggs like the games suggest??i guess its like asking whether spiderman can piss in his suit without a mess...we shall never know...

I think that Milktanks and Tauros could make a good BBQ if a Thyplosion roasts them well. Some Oddishes and Sunkerns to make a salad... A Magikarp, Feebas and Goldeen soup... In a table decorated with some Sunfloras... Yeah, Pokemon could be a good taste!!!

there was an eps in the first pokemon series when jessie said that she can cook the all famous "fille de le carp" they wanted to eat magikarp. ohhh, thats the eps when the SS ship sank and they stayed stranded in the middle of the sea.

Refering to eating magikarp... That would not be wise, its like a bottom feeder, scale and bone, no meat at all. That would be just disgusting to try to eat. If any fish types were eaten Id think goldeen and seakings would be like perch or something. some squirtle stew would be nice...

Now that you mention it, I've never ever seen 'regular' animals in the Pokemon world, just pokemon. So I guess maybe they eat some of them. Yummm, whoever would sell those pudgy pidgeys from that island would turn rich. Fine dining.

Yeah I saw that too, but maybe it was just a hoax or something, but if they were eaten that would be gross.

This is a great topic. Many lulz.Anyways, sure, why not? It would make sense.Pokemon are based off of real animals for the most part.

Yeah, definitely. Otherwise, how else do they survive? If they all feasted on plants, we'll have deforestation in a while and plants dying out due to massive competition for them (biology). And some pokemon don't seem to be vegetable eaters. I can't imagine Machop and its evolutions eating vegetables to gain those muscles. Let's see. I'll have a goldeen in place of fish, tauros in place of my beef, mareep in place of my lamb, and pidgey in place of my chicken. I might use Oddish's leaves as a herb. >.<
