I think so. I'm not sure if I'm right or not, but there was a book in the Canalave library mentioning something of the sort.

i cant beleive i hv never ever thought about such a simple question :Pi suppose they do....since like everyone said, there are no real animals in that world, only pokemons...but i really cant imagine eating a pokemon especially something like magikarp XDso i guess to make a complete meal u would eat at least blaziken (chicken-> protein), oddish (veggies), magikarp (fish??), or perhaps some taurus (some beef?) n maybe milktank for some milk >.<

Haha- i doubt it, they do have real world animals too though. For example, normal fishies. I am pretty sure they were swimming in the tanks in the Ceulean City gym.

That's a good question! It kind of makes me wonder about if after you make a pokemon faint (in the wild), does it die from it's wounds? Because it can't go to a pokemon center, so if it was seriously injured, it could die.

Yes thats a very good question, it made me think of it, for me well.. if you turn the pokemon world into a real world, yes i think that they eat the pokemon as their food, who will the pokemons and humans live if they dont eat right.

Um well in the original Manga Charizard does bite out hte throat of a pokemon. So technically he did eat the pokemon. Not many people knwo about that manga because they only see the changed version of pokemon. I prefer the Evil Lance, trying to kill all humans, over the crappy lance they have in the pokemon series.

Maybe everybody in the pokemon world is a vegetarian. But then the grass types would get screwed over...hmmm.

Hey those so called trainers keep their so called friends locked up in tiny, airless prisons and only let them out to battle other imprisoned critters. Not much of a friend I would say.

I think Pokemon would have to be eaten ay. Cos otherwise, everyone would be vegetarian. But then I'm sure you see them eating some kind of meat in at least one of the episodes. But you never ever see any ohter kind of animal, so thus I would assume that people do eat pokemon. Unless they get the meat from some other source. The only thing I can think of would be humans. But then thats cannibalism... Hmnmmmm

It would be interesting if they show the people killing the pokemon for food.

I never really thought about it.Probably, though. I remember reading a profile about a Pelipper (forgive me if that's wrong) saying how they scooped up Magikarp from the water, so I think they do.

I recall in the early episodes, Prof. Oak wanted to boil a Krabby, so the answer would have to be yes.

Spray your Pidgey with a Super potion and max Repel and besides tasting great, it keeps it fresh for 250 steps
