well, i will just use the GBA original name if its nice enough. If its really bad, i will name it "sky".well thats my actual name. =P

i take the default name of the character. somehow, playing zelda isn't as cool when zelda says "good job [insert girl's name]! you've got the triforce!"

i honestly hate having to choose names for characters. when a default name isn't given, i would literally open up babynames.com and pick a name from the list.

I usually go with the original name given, but once in awhile I'll use mine if there are multiple saves or something where it requires your own name.

I always name the character my name if it was a guy.. of course my name being Drew it can be used for both boy & girl but, I only name boy characters. 
Well, anyway I always name it my name, unless I have a better name, if there is a game with 4 characters you can name such as some of the games in the Final Fantasy Series, I normally name the main character my name and leave the others as default names..

I usually name the character my name I like when ur able to name other characters throughout the game so I can name them after friends who like the game

on a personal level, if there is a preset name, I'd would go with that, but in most games now, I'd use my nickname Hias

Sumtimes I use my name "Erik", for pokemon & sh** (I dont like pokemon tha show, just tha games, brings bak memories man...)other games, I use wat Ima call my son when I had a kid....."Dante"or sumtimes I jus make up sh** like "Kaiko"

it would be like a chinese name or a japanese name like Kung Fu Tzu or something. I need to have a surname also and I capitalize the first letters.
