The main character gets my name, and other party members (if applicable) get a name from the internet. Many sites have lots of great names there.

Usually either my own name, or if its a game like FFI where you get more than one character I'll think of random things. I named a guy toast once while I was playing in my kitchen

Usually Dantae, Damieon, or Sable, since they're nicknames of mine.

Usually i just use my namebut sometimes i make up something stupid for kicks.because whenever i see the name Jack Goff it always gives me a little chuckle.

I pretty much suck when it comes to thinking of names so using my own names the easiest thing to do

I like naming the person Meno, not my name, just Me.It's funny when you make the NPC's go, "Hello, Me!" or "Me is going to pay for this". Adds more humor to the game

If its in an RPG, i prefer to use the default name, because it lets you see the story with the names as intended...

i use either my own name, the main character's name or my nickname: "Roadie"

Mostly i use my nickname Sid but some times i use shadow or dark warrior shadow warrior is also fine

I use my name for main protagonist and if I get to name the antagonist I name them whatever the hell I want.

i always rename the main charac if i can. my name is ambiguous so i can use my name for both male and female character. =)

Depends on the game, if its fantasy/anime based i go with mitubashi/mitu for short.anything else goes default

i always have trouble thinking up of good names. i never use my name for game characters (too lame ><). i also don't usually stick to one nick name either. but, i usually use unusual names, something you might encounter in final fantasy or something.
