I usually stick to the original name so I can follow the story line, or I name it my nickname, Kazuma.

i'll almost always go with my own name, but if you get the option to name more than one character, then i'll use my old gamertags.

I usually name them their pre definited names, unless the game allows for customization.

when the character has a default name i would use it if it doesnt i would use xeroel hehe if it doesnt fit i would just think of a random name

i usually just name it the preset but when i get bored my own name.....or kaitas for a guy

I usually go with the regular name, but I'll toss in other fantasy-sounding-names from time to time. The problem with that is then you think of that character by your name, and it's a bit odd to discuss a game's character with a different name.

depends on the game. If it's RPG, I usually use any common hero's name like "ryu", or i just name him Hero. lol.but if it's simulator game, i name it after my own nickname.

usally give it my nick which is spacecake but sometimes differ.If I get a choice I usally will just to be different from everyone else.we dont all name our dog tripod.

I usually go for the default name. Sometimes I'll name the character something else, but it mainly depends on their default name. For when I actually give them a name it's what ever comes to mind.

normally i like to use the preset name for the character. take makes d game looks more "original". hahaha. unless games like online games which must be sign in using own nick name.

i despise renaming characters, especially if they already have a default name.
