My favorite character name came from playing FF7 for the first time in august of 07. I'd never played it before and was tired of hearing how epic and grand it was (which now I know it is) I had to rename Red cause who could let that bad cat be named after a barcode? My buddy missed my dartboard and put a dart right through the word Killswitch on a poster so I had to name him that. And just to let the hardcore fans know I didn't rename Cloud or anyone else.

Most of the time Petter(my own name) and in online games Mokkis (something i just say about everyone all the time zD

the name i choose to most characters is my name but if the character already has a real name then i leave as it is E.G Mark

My nickname is Char, so that's usually what I use for the character name. If you have to name a female character as well, like in Sword of Mana, I usually name her Kate or Erin.

When the caracter is a male and don´t have a name (like in pokémon) i always call it Syrus.

It depends. When I use male characters, I like to give him a cool name. Sometimes I also use the name of my crush. :laugh:For female characters, I usually use my nickname.When it's Link though, I always name him Link~

I usually go with my real first name, Naomi, or like my account, Felicia or Felicia Wreed, which is a roleplaying character I made up a while back ^^; I have a friend who always names her Pokemon in the games, I don't know why, but I never do that :\

If it's a girl I call it my nickname, Abby, but If it's a guy I just call him L or Ryuzaki..

usually my name or my friends' name, quite fun to see your friends' name when you check the character's status.

In a game,I usually name my character to Bat,Mynemisbat.And yeah,that's all my nickname.

depends on the game. zelda i always use link. games like pokemon, or wow, i name them. i try to make my own genuine names, not taking names from other games/characters that i thought were kool. cause its more fun that way
