when you name a character in a game?

I usualy name it my own name in rpgs XD and if theres more people i either put my friends name or the default

My characters are always called either emie or emiegurl. My partner always calls his characters ACE I think its coz its quick to spell.

Mine would be Dominous or Cougar.Those are my favorite names for the year, also Kazia.

I name my char Frankie, Charlie or Bobbie, but if the game was good I play it again and name him my own name: Jason

I go with what DIRECTLY contrasts with both the setting and character type.I.E., in FFI, my Black Mage was Jim, my White Mage was Chuck, my Black Belt was Dave, and my Thief was Jim.In Earthbound, Ness was Holmes, Paula was Tom, Jeff was Bart, and Poo was Yoric.

usually the default or my name. I think it's always harder to name the parter if there isn't a default...it ends up sounding stupid or lame.

If it's an FF game I use the defaults but any other game then I name it my gamer tag, which I probably shouldn't say in the forums.

if it has a default name i leave it that way but other wise i would name the girl lynn i like that name and for guys it'd be a final fantasy game

i always name my guy Smokeherblolol or in pokemon games, i name my pokemon something homo such as "big boy" or "my ass"lol.GO MY ASS, I CHOOSE YOU

I tend to use my first name for whatever reason. I'm really not conceited or nerdy about it, that's just what I've always done.
