most of the time, i go for the DEFAULT name... is nicer and it can prevent headache...

I use something like spencer or light... and i also use jap names sometimes from my favorite animes...

Boy: Valcrist or AllenGirl: Hime or Chloewell there's more than that... i only give those names on GBA games... On MMORPG the names are more Old-Fashioned than those 4!! --a

Depends on my mood mostly.Occasionally I'll name them after my friends, other times I'll use default, and sometimes I'll just make up some goofy name.Favorite: Named Ness in Earthbound Oreo

I always name my characters the default names, otherwise I feel like i'm missing out on part of something, whether it be in the symbolism or in the story's overall construction. Also, I'm very indecisive so I can never pick a name for a character. The only characters I name are the ones in the pokemon games because i feel like those really want you to be the character you're playing as. Other than that, I don't change anything.

well if it has its own name thats the name i name it but if i have to pick my own name then i look around the house and i see bread = brad or i make some names that are weird i can make any name that i think of

If the game has a name I can default to, I usually use that. If I absolutely have to make a name, I usually go with Rick Astley. Nothing better than rolling your enemies all the way to their defeat.

It depends where the game is set and stuff. Setting is the key, I name mine according to where the game is set and what names other characters have.
