Pending on the roll and gender, I use either my own name, the standard name (like Link from Zelda), or the name of another video game character with a similar role or personality. My Fire Emblem 7 tactician is always named Soren, the tactician from Fire Emblem 9 and 10.

when im naming my character for boys avatar i named in arvine... well err, nothing special...for girls natsumi or sometimes naoki.... well that seems cute names for a girl...

If it's a male character and i have enough room i name him Viscious, if there isnt enough room i just use the default name.

I always name my character after me if it's male, otherwise I use my gF's name for a female character. For my enemies, I name them "Muffin", "Nobody", etc. Such as in Pokemon: Nobody wants to battle! OR Have you seen that Muffin? He clobbered me!

I usually use my nickname, Juppe (or JuppeX). I rarely use a preset name.

Males i usualy name them CzAr or some variation of that, and females i will name Czarina, or some variation of that, and this has stuck with me for years

When i named characters back then, a few years ago, i would either go with the name they gave the main character, or i would make up a cool one.Nowadays i name most, if not all of my characters JISH.

"Echthros" is my preferred name. It is the singular of "Echthroi" which is an idea from the Time Quartet series of books by Madeline L'Engle. Echthroi are the equivalent of pure evil. If that name is unavailable (rarely), or if it is a female character, I turn to the names of the Nephilim... or fallen angels.

Depends really. Depends what game it is. IF it is a formal game i will name myself Sean, my name. Informal and i have alot of room i choose eitherpingu, nocturnal penguin (nocturnal_penguin) or Seanguy (I use Seanguy for everything on the internet)

I name all of my RPG chars after dragonball z chars. Just such good names for all games.If i only get to name the main charcter i will use my own name.James
