Well I usually use the name with which I play online.Or else my own name sometimes.Really depends on my mood though...

Sometimes I name the characters my artist's name or use the characters in anime I like such as Hikari,Hinata,Kakashi,Conan and so on.

For the games that the characters have a name but you can change it I leave it the same, for others its either after another anime character or Crim

i usally name it shadow cloud or auron for boys for grls i name amanda or mallorie
uve nvr played pokemon? wats wrong with u manIf it is a boy... I prefer the name Zax...
um... well, I like that name and if it a girl... well... dunno... I never played an RPG with a heroine...

i'd name it after my gyabo name(my closest buddies gave), oxyde..that's because i usually play o2jam and i'm really addicted to games related to it...i also became attached to the name faris, i hardly remember where i got the idea but i know its the name of my toy furball...i also like the name rock because that's the name my sibs suggested to me when i was thinking up a good name for an oc

i usually choose a boy (if there is an option)and usualy name it as champ. (my fave pet cat)

I usually us the preset names but if i have to name a character i use my name. But sometimes i use other names from like my favorite animes or favorite games.

I would have a Japanese name for a character. Japanese names sound completely random, thus no copyright would be intended. Nevertheless, the name of my CHARACTER WOULD BE:Zelingetore (male)

I make up names, just because I can. Occasionally if I am feeling lazy or tomboyish and am naming a male character I will use my name (Alice) and change it to the androgynous "Ali". My favourite examples though are when my younger brother names his pokemon characters: ie. Squirtle gets named "Bladder" and Pidgy gets "Bottom", so that he can laugh when he uses attacks like water gun and gust ("Bladder used water gun", "Bottom used gust"). Childish, but amusing.

I used to just put in my own name, (as I wanted to get on with it), then when I started to get interested in anime and manga and stuff, I would try japanese names, usually a conjunction of 'rai' with something or 'kaminari'. My usual nickname is Kaos, which I got from a character from a Terry Pratchett book; he was 'Kaos, the Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse, the one who left before they came famous'. I really liked the character so I nabbed his name for a while. In the last week though, I've come to realize how cool certain biblical names sound in a modern world. My current Pokemon Diamond character is named Cain.

It depends, if the preset name is nice then I leave it as it is (Chrono, Magus, Serge, Karsh for example). But for most of the times I rename them with names of the game that is currently buzzing in my head, like Battletoads Rash, Zits, Pimple. I also use the names from other Final Fantasy games like Locke, Zidane, Squall.But my favorite name for males is Janus and for females is Irene.

For naming, I usually liked to used names that has a 'Y' or 'Z' on it, like Yuki or Zero :unsure:But depends though. If the character is cute, I'd named it 'Garnet' ot 'Amethys' ^^ (for female)Sometimes I adopt the names from anime or manga too
