i'll rename or in most cases name my character Zane if Male, & Riona if female

You know, it really depends. On RPG type games, where the name will be seen alot, I name it my name. When it is any other game, i usually just use the default.

I always use the default name, if there's one available, and if not I use my name if it's a girl (it rarely is). If it's a guy, I usually come up with something bizarre.

If I'm not lazy I'd name it my character Hoopla. If I am lazy, I'd just leave it as is.

I usually am feeling lazy and just put in 'AAA' to avoid having to go anywhere else on the keyboard, plus it means that I'm a triple ace! 8)

I just have a small list of names that i keep memorized and use when needed. Zade, Raine, Dezzull, etc.

if it is a final fantasy game, i either use the default name or Shultz. Sometimes i use my name, other times i leave default, ex: golden sun (Isaac and Felix)

I normally name a character (if their name can be changed) weird stuff like internet abbreviations.So some of my characters are named "OMG" or "LOL" or "OMFG" ;D

I usually name my character Advent or Phoenix(if its a boy character) or if its a girl character(that's personal)...... But sometimes I go with the preset name for the character, only because it rocks for the character or I can't think of anything cool

I tend to avoid my own name. I want to not give myself much glory or seem narcissistic. I normally find something odd or something from my own little world. Perhaps something I learned in a class recently. Like on Pokemon Pearl, my person's name is Vitus (after Vitus Bering, after whom the Bering Straight is named).

It depends on my mood. Once, I was so giddy that I gave certain characters inappropriate names. Another time, I used the names of my friends.

Well if they have a name, then I just leave it. But if they don't then I come up with names depending on how they look like.
