when you name a character in a game?

i usually choose the default name or Lunaro, Kyra, or Shadow. In Zelda, i always choose Link to be his name (duh)

I call them Bob, Billy or Joe then its BobII, BillyII, JoeII and you get the point...

I name the people weird things from movies. Like for my FFIV game, I named one guy, "Borat." Lol.... :laugh:

I always name the main character one of my alias'Any other character that you can name, I usually keep the default unless it's a retarded name, then I'll change it to something cool to fit the character. :laugh:

Most of the time in RPGs, it calls for a Boy's name. If you haven't noticed, I am a girl. :'( I normally name the character Jack, or Abraham if it is long enough.

I always use the canonical name, even if it sounds incredibly stupid. I really hate it when there is no default name, or when you have to go research it yourself (Harvest Moon, I'm looking at you...).

I name my characters 'Chip.' I know it's weird... but it's a tradition my sister and I started when we played our first game, Pokemon: Yellow Version. *When it first came out too... and it was popular...*

I use the original name if possible, if the character doznt have his own name, i'll use a created name...

I'm assuming we're talking about RPGs.I use the default name, the "given" name, if possible.If not...either my own name, or something to suit the epic hero.

I don't rename NPCs anymore, though I used to. Way back when, I used to name them after my friends (I had default charater types for all of my friends), but now, I pretty much stick with the default.
