hard to say... if there is no default, then the guy usually gets my first name... if ther eis a default, i usually stick with that, unless i think it sounds ugly, then i try to make up something better...Also, a lot of my family/friends had to give their names already, esp. when i have to name a female character

Of course I will named my main character the same as mine, it's fun to watch my name display in each game. If the main character is opposite gender of mine, I will use their default/preset name.

i usually name it Izzy after that character from digimon season 1, or else i keep the original name or rarely i name them after me

If its my first time playing the game I use my name but after I beat it once and if I want to play it again I'll make-up a name.

I always name my character Sparda for two reasons.1) In tribute to the ancient Spartans.2) To pay homage to the uber character in DMC.

I usually leave it at default, or name them some of the default names of my favorite Characters from other games or tv shows. If all else fails, I use my name. Very rarely does that happen.

i normally use my name. once in pkmn crystal i was being lame and named my pokemon after my name as well ^^
