"NJ" which is short for my usual screen name which is "NamelessJewel". and in the pokemon games if you get to name your rival I use "GB" which is short for my brothers usual screen name which is "Glowing Ball"

I always use a shorter version of my screename. For example instead of "DontBlink1" I'll just put "Blink".

I usually use the default names or if I'm feeling giddy I'll put in something fun that'd bump the rating up a few age requirements if it were to be the default name :PMakes me laugh to see them calling eachother something way.. graphic.. ;x

Sometimes I'll pick a default name if I think is suits the chacter image well (like in pokemon) but now and then I use my real name or an alteration of it.

for rpg's i name it after my friends but most of the time it doenst really make a difference to me

I keep the default name when there is one, when there isn't I call it KOSMOS or T-ELOS, when it's a girl, and when it's a boy I use Sephiroth (funny... sometimes...) or names from FF7.

i call the character i use (well the main) daniel if its a guy and other people i just give them random names.

I name them according to sex and skills:boys: D3v1K-> fighter or action char. D3m0n-> magic or dark char.girls: Kat->fighter or action char. MysTic-> magic or dark char.

I always name them by default because that's part of the magic of RPG's, cool names.
