I like to use my own name it makes the game more real for me if it sounds like you have a conversation with your name in it.

My characters have anywhere from Japanese to Chinese names, and even English(very few). I only used my real name once or twice. That would be in Star Ocean Till The End of Time(PS2)

Depends on the game.If I've got the room, then I put Marlboro (i kind of smoke a lot)If I don't have the room, then either Marb, or my real name (it's only two letters.)

If it's a guy, First 3 letters of my name. (Real Name)Girl, Probably from some anime shows I watched.Sometimes, names can get frustrating though.

something amusing like "that whore on the corner" so when ever your character does some thing you can giggle to yourself.EXAMPLE: that whore on the corner -picked up some wood
