Okay, there's little to no info about MKWii, but we all know it's gonna happen. Only a matter of time. So I guess I'll just pose some questions and ideas up here for the time being, and if you have any info at all feel free to enlighten us.Okay, the questions. One: characters. Who would they add to the roster? Most likely it would be minor baddies like Bullet Bill or something, but it could be anyone. So, any ideas? Personally I lean towards a minor baddie, a character from one of the Mario and Luigi RPGs and a random character from way back in the day that like 7 people recognize or a boss from one of Yoshi's or DK's games. So, I would say maybe a Goomba, Toadsworth and King K. Rool. There aren't enough bad guys in the game, only three every time, plus the minions. Two: The control scheme. Here's what I'm thinking: you drive with the control stick on the nunchuk, you powerslide with the buttons on the back of the nunchuk, accelerate with A. Now, to throw items, you flick the remote. I'm not talking about throwing a grenade in Red Steel or COD, I mean just a flick towards the screen. You can flick it as hard as you like, though, as long as you don't try to sue for your broken TV because you're a moron. Kind of like the motion in Zelda when you cast out your lure. You would throw with that motion and drop bananas or throw behind you by bringing the remote up sharply towards you, like when you, sort of like the motion in Zelda before you actually throw the line. Finally, if you're driving and someone comes up next to you, you can punch them like in Double Dash!! by swiping the remote to the side slightly. I think that control scheme is pretty darn good, and none of the motion should be able to be confused for another one.Three: the levels/online. Obviously, the online is a must, and hopefully they could implement some sort of lobby to make things easier. But as far as levels go, the sky's the limit. I think they should bring back DK Mountain and Wario's Coliseum from Double Dash!! though. If they wanted to they could throw some N64 levels in for nostalgia. You guys can make any suggestions about that.and Four: Multiplayer. First of all, battle returns. Second...how about some EIGHT PLAYER MULTIPLAYER? The first four slots would be remotes with the functions built in, but the final four would be gamecube controllers using the traditional controls. That would just be epic. So! What do you think of this proposed control scheme? What levels/characters do you want in? And what do you think it should be called?

i hope they make one for the wii.did they make a mario kart for the 64?I think so because in an interview with the series creator in an issue of Nintendo Power, he said that since there has been one on every Nintendo system, the next obvious step is to create one for the Wii.

I think the battle mode was great on this version but the gamecube one was disapointing I can only hope they improve itYeah, man...Mario Kart 64 was one of the most succesful, I think. Not to make you sound like an idiot or anything, though. I came across that way I think.

I actually doubt WiiKart will use motion controls. Nintendo isn't completely stupid; they realize which games are more high octane and need tight control and don't try to tamper with it unless for very specific functions. I think the controls will be the same, but they'll throw in one new motion move like maybe the kart hop is done by shaking the wiimote. ...That would actually work really well. Im a genius! But anyway, all ninty has to do is update the graphics just a smidge, keep up the tight control scheme of mkDS, and fix the online so its much easier to hold your own games and connect with people. That was the one and only flaw of mkDS: amateur online service. It worked, sure, but it had a lot of room for improvement. It was Ninty's first foray into that kind of thing, though. My only issue is controls, cause if I know Nintendo, I think they're totally gonna push for the whole control scheme that they have set up for both Excite Truck and Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam. I must admit, I did get a chance to sample Excite Truck and the controls do feel extremely tight and it responds pretty well, but this is Mario Kart here. I mean I've got to do a crap load of drifting and such, and trying to snake using that method is probably going to be pretty tough.Other than that, I think I'd be pretty satisfied if they just ported over the arcade game. Tighten the controls here and there, increase the roster and number of tracks. Throw in cool online thing and wham, instant classic.

It already has. It's Pokemon Battle Revolution, and I don't know when it comes out, but its basically the next stadium game. It looks a little better, but seems to be the same format.yes there will be a mario kart for wii.. as will there be pretty much every game on the gamecube. i doubt pokemon will make the wii roster though.
