Who else thinks that Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 are some of the best games ever? Good graphics, a great plot, intreigue etc. etc. It's an awesome game. It was a new type of game, with the double plot.

I love the "build your town the way you want" aspect of the first dark cloud, not to mention the dungeons always change every game.I have yet to play Dark Cloud 2, unfortunally.

Yeah, the town building thing is awesome. I love it how you can make it how ever you want. And the dungeons are great.In the 2nd one its like the first, but its harder, i think. ITS AWESOME!

I also love dark cloud 1 i bought it 3 months ago because it was cheap and i had $12 on me.

I think it is a very good game. You get to create things just by using your camera and use your imagination.

I am proud to say that both are in my collection and are a part of said collection that'll never leave it along side of Star Ocean TTEOT, the SMT series, FF8, chrono cross, legend of dragoon, the 2 BOFs for ps1, and if i can ever find another copy cause mine broke legend of mana.If i had to choose between the 2 dark clouds i'd have to go with 2. Theres alot more to do in it and that just makes my mouth water. however they are both great games and if you get your hands on it you'll know what i mean.

I loved these games with the fact that in the first one you had to get parts for every town and then set it up according to how people wanted it. And same for with the seconds but with time instead. It kept me going for hours and hours and wish there was a 3rd game

The frist time i played it at my friends I palyed it all nigth. Thats who good I like it, and not alot of PS2 games can do that.(KH I&II,SO:TTEoT, and Ys 6: The Ack of Napishtim)

Dark clod 1 and 2 are two of my favorite games for the PS2, and I feel they are overlooked by the gaming community. Each one had its own unique soundtrack and graphics, and i thought DC2's graphics were superb. the story in each kept me playing til the end of the game

I liked both like the build the town and try to make everyone happy with may ways to do it (I think) and how you have to find the pieces to make the town. But I hated the picture taking in Dark cloud 2

I only played Dark Cloud 2...the gameplay and systems were excellent, but I felt nothing from the plot.Had potential at first but then nothing really seemed to hook me in.

I found Dark Cloud to be a little generic. The characters had no personality whatsoever most of the time and a charter was totally wasted in the form of Toan. I felt swindeled when I beat the game only to find out what the dark genie truly was. Two on the other hand had an actual plot and 500'ed uped itself in the character department

i bought the first one because a dude at the store suggested it to me and even though i didnt really like rpg's at the time i got addicted to itbuilding the cities was a really cool feature

i think dark cloud 2 is better than 1 because its better graphic much better story line it sorta told you have the building this acualy was and it had voice acting...although some times it lacked in that...lol

Dark Cloud always put me in mind of a turbo-charged version of... gah, what's it called... the precursor to Terranigma. Soul Blazer? Something along those lines. Anyway, the premise was much the same - you battle through a dungeon to release the people and buildings in a town, who in turn will help you get further through the dungeon... etc.I only ever hired the first one, unfortunately. It was... good, but once you got up to the third town or so, it started getting repetitive. Kill this, release that, repeatedly beat this over the head with your sword... and so forth.

1 of my best games.Dark cloud was very good and 2 was super.I remember when i got it how pumped i was.
