I've only played the first one like twice, but I LOVE the second. I like the weapon system and making towns. The only drawback is that once you beat it, you can't go to the future to get the stat raising items that you might've missed.

Too damn right Dark Cloud ruled, it's sooooo hard to get now in England. Dunno if it's different in USA.I loved it.

Yes, it's a good game, although the second one (chronicle) was even better, great plot and great gameplay.

man, you have great gaming taste!! Woohoo, go dark cloud 1& 2...though 2 is uber hard with fairly long dungeons...I wish that they shortened it a little.I am proud to say that both are in my collection and are a part of said collection that'll never leave it along side of Star Ocean TTEOT, the SMT series, FF8, chrono cross, legend of dragoon, the 2 BOFs for ps1, and if i can ever find another copy cause mine broke legend of mana.If i had to choose between the 2 dark clouds i'd have to go with 2. Theres alot more to do in it and that just makes my mouth water. however they are both great games and if you get your hands on it you'll know what i mean.

wanna play dark cloud.. i saw lot of people here said dark cloud is a great game so i saved some money to buy it but when i went to the store the game was out of stock.. so dark cloud maybe a great game after all..

i thougt dark cloud 1 was dumb but they took it up to the next level with DC2 its just great the way you can completely upgrade your weapons and the game plot was great

the town building in 2 was better than one. i always built a little shrine for people to worship me(if they could). it also had some pretty sweet boss fights. DC1 wasn't as good though, i think. i only ever used the main guy, except for those specific dungeons where i couldn't, and when i had to switch to someone else to open a door. DC 2, i was playing equally as both max and monica, since they were both imprtant. and it was especially fun turning into monsters... i think i might just play it again now >.>

they are such great games, though I haven't been able to add dark cloud 2 to my collection let, but i have played the first one several times through and enjoy getting 100% satisfaction when makeing the towns.

I like both of them the whole build the town things was cool as well as the weapon leveling system in Dark Cloud 2

Yeah. I've played Dark Cloud 2( cann't find Dark Cloud). It's one of the best game I've ever play.It will be good if Level-5 (developer) make a sequel.

They should really have a sequel or another game for a handheld or something. Love both games very much mostly the second because you could change the clothes (Max clown suit) and dual weapons was good. Short range and long range and not having to go to the menu and equip this one weapon just for this guy. I think i heard a rumor about DC3 but not sure might have been just the name Dark Cloud 3.

i like both...Dark Cloud 2 was cool because of the whole take pictures and build everything...yet i wish there was more hours of gameplay for it...who knows maybe a dark cloud 3 is coming out soon

Dark Cloud was a sweet game it's up there in my top games with Kingdom Hearts, FFX, Guitar Hero and Timeplitters 2. I haven't finished it yet though

Love the first one, never got very far in the 2nd one, but, I've had DC1 nearly as long as I've had my PS2, (introduced to it by a friend prior to obtaining my PS2, so after i got it, getting DC as soon as possible was a must) and I still play it.
