The coolest character in PC games may be JC Denton (the guy from Deus Ex), not Gordon Freeman from HL. JC can do anything as a secret agent rather than a renegade like Gordon Freeman. Max Payne is another cool character but really I don't want a character who messes up the content. Possibly the most beautiful character in PC Games is either Mona Sax (from Max Payne 2 game) or Lara Craft (Tomb Raider: Legend).

I would have to say that Diablo is the coolest PC character. I mean come on it's DIABLO he's the flipping lord of Terror.He's a super bada$$. I know you can't play him but he's still awsome. Otherwise I would pick Gordon Freeman. Mostly just because of the game he's attached to, Half-Life just rules.

Duke Nukem is the coolest character in PC Games. (Possibly b/c Duke Nukem 3-D was just so much fun when I was in college.) Other acceptable answers: Gordon Freeman, Max Payne, and Leisure Suit Larry.
