I've become really fastenated with how digital art is made and how well the finished product looks. I would really enjoy some tips on wich programs to use when trying to make digital art.

Digital art, well I know of a couple that you can create digital pictures and such with if that is what you mean. They are Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe Illustrator. Photoshop is more manipulating photographs and such but you can make lots of stuff with it. Im not much up on Illustrator but this is more drawing related but similar to photoshop. I personally would go with photoshop to start because I have a relatively easy time making things with it over Illustrator. Start simple and mess with the functions by a book on it if necessary and just play around with it and before you know you will be making great things. There are other products out there some freeware I think but nothing as good as Adobe photo/Illustrator in my opinion. These softwares are expensive however so you either want to cough up the $$$ or get a demo/activation key for it. I have a legit version and try to stay away from that stuff but it is your choice.

Use macromedia fireworks 8, it's the best choice if what you're looking for is web design or button and user bars maker.
