What do you believe is the most underrated game and why?I believe Plok is the most underrated game. It didn't sell many units, possibly because the main character has a head shaped like a Ku Klux Klan member's hood, or possibly because it looked too kiddy. In actual fact, the game was hard as rocks.

One that comes to mind is Mega Turrican for Sega Genesis. There were two Turrican games for SNES at the time (Super Turrican 1 & 2) but Mega really got me hooked. It's a fairly straightforward platform/shooter with a swinghook mechanism kind of like Bionic Commando, and some of the most memorable 16 bit music I can remember.

That game was pretty much awesome. It was very original back in the day too. I definately liked how it switched to black and white when you played as the grandpa or whater. Perhaps I will have to play it sometime.

Maybe Goof Troop. That was a pretty fun game, despite being based on a Disney cartoon show. I've got to dig it out and have another go on it.

The Splatterhouse Series, it was the first game to be given a rating, a few good years before Mortal Kombat came about, plus it did help define what is now Survival Horror, yet not many know of it =O

One of the more underrated games I've played is Wetrix for the N64, it's a great single player and multiplayer game. It's capable of keeping almost anyone entertained for hours.

How can you think it's underrated? It's considered by many, many people as the best RPG ever made. Only a small minority think the game was bad, the rest think it was either great, really great, or ZOMG!!! thaqt games roxxors!!!11For me, I think it was somewhere between great and really great.

If anything, FFVII is overrated, not underrated. If any FF's can be argued for being underrated, it would be FFII. But then again, I can see why a lot of people wouldn't like it.

Guardian Legened for NES was pretty underrated. Had some of the smoothest scroll shooter controls ever.

Not for consoles but I will name Warlords Battlecy series, this games combine the best of role-playing games (not talking about FF's or Lufia's,I'm talking about Vampire: Dark Ages or Dungeons and Dragons) and RTS, it is agreat game than nobody praises, everyone just got excited with that bull**** of Warcraft (who is a bad leftover of Starcraft, STARCRAFT RULES!!!), the last one wasn't so good, but the first and the third are REALLY GREAT WAR GAMES!!!!!

I always loved Sparker's games... They were more serious than anothe "fluffly" characters, and had a backstory... It's a pitty he never got any attention...

i would have to go with dragon view for snes. it was hard to get into, but once you were in on it, it was really fun. i think the reason people didnt like it was because it had kinda sillly graphics and some of the side quests and item attainments took forever, though there were not many of them.and FFVII is overrated. the FF that uses the best combination of its graphics and story capability woudl be FFIII/VI, III for snes, VI for ps1
