I never played this version of it, but I heard that the Wii version was the same, except with some added extra missions. If it really is the same, then this game was awesome.

Whoa, this game sounds really cool! Any more explanation about the gaming system or storyline without spoilers before I decide whether to buy it or not? :D

In this game you play mainly with the stylus. You tap icons at the edge of the screen to switch to different surgical tools. Each tool does different things, and about a third of the game gets you to practice using those tools. Then the real challenge begins when GUILT appears, and that's when the whole surgeon thing goes out the window.Basically GUILT is parasite forms of a virus that must be eradicated from a patients body. The different types of GUILT must each be killed in a certain fashion, for example by using the sonar to expose them and then cutting the patient open at the area where they are, or simply by firing the laser at them (being careful not to miss), or by injecting a special serum and cutting them out. If you leave them alone for too long the patient keeps taking damage and eventually dies. However, cutting open the patient in wrong areas also damages them. There is a syringe tool which can heal the patient, but the later on the difficulty escalates to insane levels when the GUILT you encounter respawn and do damage at incredible rates. I remember getting so good my hands seem to blur and I can select tools without even looking at the icon. Every so often there's also a boss type GUILT that takes a while to kill and can move around to different areas of the body. If you don't meet the objectives in the required time you lose have to start the operation over.Stuff you'll be doing a lot of are picking up objects and putting them in petri dishes, draining blood, stitching, applying synthetic membranes, and putting a salve on the edges of the membrane. That's because you probably will have to do that for almost every cut in the patient, whether made by you or the GUILT. Imagine 5 GUILT swimming around making a cut every two seconds and you can appreciate the intensity. You will learn to stitch inhumanly quickly (literally, I don't think it's possible to stitch like that in real life) or just give up the game. What caused me hand pains was the "almost" syndrome. "Goddammit I ALMOST killed that boss. Again!" And that would continue for about an hour or so, usually. I was aiming for at least level A in every level, and as many S levels as I could get, so I messed up a lot in trying to save time. :D Beating the game isn't all that hard, really, as long as you play each level a few times and have decent skills with the stylus.Anyways, I hope that little bit of personal experience helps people decide whether or not this game is interesting.

I really, really don't like the game :-(It's way 2 difficult I couldn't get very far so I traded it for another gameCome 2 think of it, that can also be the fault of my DS because my screen isn't right.

I love this game, can get challenging at times. I actually own it for the Wii and not the DS, but I have played it on the DS. I think the Wii version is better >.<

I got frustrated after killing the spider. Also it bothered me that I had to look up the fact that you're supposed to use the doctor's touch twice.
