Sephiroth hands down because he is the appitamy of evil. I mean once you kill probably one of the most non-evil people to exist in a game that just makes you the coolest bad guy ever plus you have to take into effect how awsome he looks plus the awsome sword!!

i'm sorry for all the sephiroth fans but i kinda don't "get" the whole sephiroth craze thing, i think he had that mystery and creepiness going for him, but i don't know i'm just not like gushing all over him, besides he was a sissy in the final battle and omg that planet attack there that he does it was so looooooooong that i could leave my computer, go get a snack, chit chat with my sister, burn my mail, check the weather, and then when i got back he had only done like 2000 damage and was pummeling my party and still nothing happened, anyway i'll leave poor Sephy alone now (i definetly don't HATE sephiroth i just don't understand the craze)now.... the villain i liked the best was Edea from ff8, now i know she's not the real villain but she just had such and elegance about her, just this blank face that had a certain regal command, she didn't show off and she definetly didn't have that bad guy laugh... she didn't need it, but if you got out of line she would she barely raise a finger and zip you were dead, now i find THAT the best bad guy, now Ultimicia was very creepy to me and is it just me or did it sound like she spat when she talked at the end!

Sephiroth is the coolest villain of the FF series. He's really strong when he wasn't evil yet, but he was so hard to beat at the end of FF7.
