i think the best thing about gears was when i chainsaw myself to do this if your wondering before you pick up a chainsaw gun push the melee and pick up the gun at the same time, it doesn't hurt but its really funny the blood all over the place

i loved the gamealthough the story mode was kinda short the multiplayer more than made up for it and with maps and new modes coming out ima still be playin it for a lot longer

Can someone please give me some tips for online play cause,i find it really hard even in player matches1.What is the best to avoid being chain sawed?(roll,run,shoot.....)2.Should i stick with another person from my team or should i go a completely different route?3.How do u grenade tag?4.What is the best weapon for close range battles?5.And anything i shud know in general???????Thnx in advanceP.SDoes grenade tagging work in Single Player?

me too LOL!!!I subscribe to game informer and they gave it the #1 for E3 award so I'm probably going to get it
I like the storyline! oh well not at the beginning but its good! Its almost like HALO as an adventure on Earth u kno...u dun't kno...LOL.....I like the chain saw the most though wat do u guys like the most????gears of war... so much to say. i thought the storyline was pretty stupid, i mean it doesnt even tell you how the world came to be like that, it doesnt tell you how the entire world is reacting to this crisis and why theres like 10 people in the whole game. the only time you learn about other people is the stranded. but the actually gameplay in the campaign was really fun. the cover system is nothing short of amazing. you can pretty much take cover behind anything. the weapons were pretty cool, i mean who doesnt love a chainsaw bayonet. but they seriously could have had more weapons, i mean there was like 6. i think the live was really cool. i like how you can switch your character to any person in the game. it was cool how you play as the locust and all their characters. plus the live gameplay is also good, 4 on 4s seem weak but you enjoy it. so overall i say it was a really good game and lived up to its rep.

I'll try to help.1. It's pretty simple finding matches. Just use the filters to find a specific game.2. GoW is kinda on the tactical side so beginners should just stick with teammates.3. Grenade tag by pressing B while holding nades. Just run away so you don't blow up.4. The shotgun is amazing close range and more so with an active reload. Pistol melees are fun but kinda cheap.5. I personally shoot off a few rounds before fighting and get the more powerful active reload once I get close to some action. I love this game sooo much. I have never been much of a Halo fan because of the simple gameplay. And shooters were starting to get boring for me cuz they were all the same. The GOW comes with its complex control system....god this is the best game for me because its really so challenging online....well.....sometimes. I stopped playing for a while because people sucked and didnt know how to play. And all the new maps that came out are ****ing sweet!!!!
1:take out your shot gun and while he is rinning at you with the chainsaw out shoot him and get close and shoot him again when he is stunned to either demolish or down him.2:Stick with them until you get into combat. Then try to find a way to flank behind the enemies.3:Hit B with grenades out but plz....dont do it and be a noob.4:SHOTGUN BITCHES!!! 5:Learn too ge trid of the lancer and keep the shotgun/memorize where the aimer is and shooth there without aiming and you can still hit. lol i fell in love with this game on my first online match this guy named dan18 came across the corner and *BOOM* shot him with the shotgun... his guts splatter all over the place.. COG win heheyea.. that was how it went down lol... I hope Halo can top this game

I think that its an entertaining game, its just not long enough and alot of the gameplay seems grey and dull.

One of the best games on any platform, ever. I wasn't a fan of shooters till this came out. Can't wait to finish off the trilogy over the next few years.

gears of war rules, although in New Zealand the internet speed is kinda slow so we get a little lag online but thats all good

I bought this game and I like it, Hell I like anything by EPIC but the I dislike the MP like a lot, and the fact that the new PC only version allows you to fight that massive tank creature that you can't fight on Xbox sucks, It's like what, should buy a new copy of an oldish game and a massive tank of a pc so I can fight the main reason I bought the game for the xbox? No thanks I'll wait for Gow2. And boooooo to the person who said it was better then Halo, The beta was AWESOMEEEEE! (and I didn't have to buy crackdown for it either). I like gears I just prefer Halo.
