what about a remake of metroid II: the return of samus?...adding the new stuff of what we know about the metroid story, and giving the proper retelling of this amazing story.and also some cool and dark graphics. hehe. after all, planet SR388 is very dark, full of caves, and metroids.

Saga or Final Fantasy Legends on Game Boy should be remade. They are really good RPGs designed for handheld systems.I hope these fantasies originated from handhelds will be reborn on new handhelds.

I'd have to say Final Fantasy 6, Pokemon GSC, and Pokemon Snap. As a sidenote I'm still not sure why there was never a sequel to the latter after its huge success.

MANIAC MANSION!!!!!!!! hahaha I used to looove that game. they did remake it for PC a while back but it was fairly horrible.

A lot of the remakes of Snes Games. Some of the greatest games were made during that era. THere would be no doubt that it'd be worth remaking some of those games

A lot of the classic Super Mario games.. ex. Super Mario World :D and UTOPIAA !! There are games similar to it.. but it's still not Utopia.

This is not Metal Gear 2. Snake's Revenge is a game developed for the old NES but not by Hideo Kojima or most of the original team members of the MG of MSX... the real MG2 was release for MSX and re-release inside the bonus of second version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Sorry, I don't remember the name of the new version)... But well, if Konami and Kojima Productions decide to remake MG 1 and 2 with graphics like the first MGS for PSX and the gameplay of MGS2 it could be great... like Metal Gear Solid: the Twin Snakes but with not so good graphics.Someone in this forum said Knights of the Old Republic... and is a great idea... but only the first one is cool... the second is quite "incomplete" and the rumor of the third chapter....Of course I will love a remake of Final Fantasy VI, along with a (nearly impossible) remake of Final Fantasy VII.A Diablo Game (I know... I know... is almost impossible to have any of the two chapter of the saga on the DS... but who knows)Monkey Island (Maybe the fou games but with the Escape from Monkey Island graphic style)

I like the idea of remakes. just buying it off virtual console makes me feel in a way ripped off. with a remake you feel like you are paying for something new. but sometimes I feel like the original shouldn't be tampered with.

Do you know Kiju-senshi?In the past, I had played at NES.There may be three fighters with shell.I do want to play that game in DS.

Nox sure if anyone knows but crono trigger is being remade for dson the remake I would like to see end Final Fantasy 6 on the DS would be sweet., the have ff3 and ff4 so why not ff6 the possibly best ff game?

I think the original three Final Fantasy games should have been remade in full 3D. They shouldn't remake 7, 8, or 9.I also want remakes for the Double Dragon games.

Megaman X saga... I know there is Megaman X Collection (I'm still dont have it) but it would be cool a remake of them like Megaman X Maverick Hunter for PSP that actually is a remake of the first MMX.

Chrono Trigger and FF7.Chrono Trigger's coming out this November, so I'm very excited about that. :D I'm hoping they'll remake FF7, I'm just not sure if they can fit everything on one cartridge. :D
