Isn't it strange how the developers have all these different emulators like NO$GMB (gameboy), NO$C64 (commodore 64), NO$NES, etc. but they didn't make a new emulator called NO$NDS? Instead, they just modify the GBA emulator to work for both GBA and NDS.

Yeah i find that strange too i mean the name no$nds would of been way better. With the name it is now some people i bet get confused and think the nogba is just for gba roms.

Quite strange indeed. It would seem the developer got lazy and didn't feel like building the NDS emulation from the ground up and instead opted to use his existing code to avoid backward compatibility issues. However, as it stands it probably creates a great deal of problems in the actual NDS emulation, even though it is the best one available at the moment.Btw, am I the only one still experiencing weird skippy sound issues for every single NDS game or is that still everyone?

@@unleashed@: either you didn't re-encrypted the rom or you don't put the bios files in the same folder as the emulator. Anyway, just download the last version 2.4 and you won't need these. More information on the first post.@Huang Fei Hong: No$gba's sound is generally ugly. The author said he wanted to focus mainly on graphics and 3D support more than sound. DeSmuME's sound is much better.Anyway, a possible advantage to combine GBA and NDS emulators may reside in a future GBA/NDS linking possibility.

I followed destiny's settings for Super Robot Wars W. If it does work and I get 80% framerate, about 5 minutes later it goes down to 50% and stays there. Anyone else getting this?

What's your hardware? Because mine generally doesn't slow down that much.

You need to set the proper Save Type according to the game.

with digimon world ds (U) on the compatibility list of perfect roms its says to use [EEPROM 64KB] as the save file but still when i go to save it says something along the lines of unable to save please turn off the power and take the cartridge out, then it freezes. It takes about 10 mins to get to the point when you can first save so anyone who has this game on thhis emulator can you please tell me what save file you used. thanks.

@Shanicky: can you provide more information such as what problem? Which rom?@Shadow__Hedgehog: Pokemon Ranger works.@Elike: sometimes, the game itself doesn't allow the touchscreen. In general, if the touchscreen doesn't work, you need the firmware.@@unleashed@: in game save works. EEPROM 64KB is the correct type. Once you set this save type, go to file>reset.

Like Ody said to @@unleashed@, you need to reset after setting the save type. After setting the save type, go to File -> Reset.

Change the save type to Flash 256KB, then go to File->Reset.

Is there anyway to use the microphone/breath feature in No$gba? I've been playing Phoenix Wright without any problems and got to the 5th case and in order to do finger prints I have to be able to blow the powder off the prints I have to be able to blow and I can't figure out how, unless it requires a microphone or headset which I don't have.

No$gba supports microphone but you need an input device such as a microphone unless your computer has already an integrated microphone. Otherwise, blowing on the screen is quite pointless.
