Well 3 other things you can do are:1. Turning the sound off2. Turning all other applications off while playing (like msn or your virus scanner3. Make your pc faster. The first 2 are pretty normal things, but I wouldn't do option 3 unless your pc is veeeery slow

1. that made it worse!2. they are3. lol have you seen my sig? ;)

Jealous....Did you go to options>sound output mode, or did you push the power button on your speakers? And after you turned the sound off in the options, then change your emulation speed. And I suppose you have tried changing your 3d renderer. If that doesn't work, the game is not completly playable.

Did you make sure to place them in the right folders? DQ4 is capable of running in NO$GBA, it's not 100% but it runs. If you correctly configure the emulator (following the guide, it should work. Also, dumb question but, did you extract the ROM?

I recommend you upgrade to 2.6a http://www.dgemu.com...showtopic=68847As for BIOS, You just need to it to be in the same folder as the emulator.

I'm assuming you mean your .sav files. In the 2.5 folder, Move the BATTERY folder into the 2.6a folder (replacing 2.6a's BATTERY Folder or just moving the .sav files to the other folder).

I'm having problems running The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor. Upto main menu, everything's fine, but after I start a new game and select a difficulty, the following error shows up: http://i185.photobuc.../MummyError.pngI already tried changing graphics plugins (nocash, OpenGL, none)... Can anyone tell me what's wrong? I use no$gba v2.6a. While the ROM doesn't crash, the error repeats itself infinitely and repeatedly.

Hi, simple problem that probably falls under the category of PEBCAK or ID10T. I decided to try and play Xiaolin Showdown (perhaps my first mistake, neh?) on No$GBA 2.6. There's some kind of a graphic glitch that looks like a smudge across the bottom screen, and the characters look, well, weird. To be quite blunt, I can't describe the effect because I haven't reopened the emulator since I tried it. I installed the BIOS and firmware files at the top of this thread into my no$gba-w folder, and I loaded it up. I was overjoyed that I didn't have to use the built-in SLOT folder like in no$gbc, but I'm betting that using it probably wouldn't be a bad thing. Heck - I still call my standard ROM folder "Slot" because that was my first GBX emulator.Either way, here's the breakdown:Hardware: Toshiba L35-S2161Operating System: Windows XP, SP2.Emulator: Nocash GBA 2.6ROM: Xiaolin Showdown USAError: Graphic glitch, bottom screen.Hope you can help.

You mean something like this?Posted Image(If possible, could you provide a screenshot?)I played it on NO$GBA 2.6a and it looks fine with the exception of that glitched space (and I think the characters are supposed to look like that), but I think that just might be an emulation error.

Since this is a new game, it does not seem to work on the current version of no$gba.

I'm having problems running The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor. There does not seem to be a fix for this yet.

It is a problem with the emulator. Nothing much can be done about this.

Oh.... I see what the problem is. I don't think there's anyway to fix that staticky bar type thing, but as for the characters, that's a re-occurring glitch that happens in some games (Zelda:PH and Dragon Quest Monsters Joker are 2 examples). Just upgrade to NO$GBA 2.6a and the characters will look normal. NDS Emulators DownloadAlso, If you want to adjust the colour of your emulator go to Options>Emulation Setup>GBA Mode>VGA (Poppy Bright)You can tell the difference by looking at our different screenshots:MinePosted Image Your'sPosted Image

Ok, if this problem was mentioned before, then I am sorry (I don't know if it is just me, but I couldn't use search option). The problem is the game "The World Ends with You". I downloaded it on this site's free nds roms topic and when I run it on no$gba 2.6a, it isn't fully emulated - for example when there is the title screen, I don't see any button to start new game. I just click randomly on this blank screen and hope to start the game. Is there any way to fix it or is it just not good emulated on no$gba 2.6a yet? If it is the second one, then I hope there will be any new no$gba version in the future

Refer to this thread : http://www.dgemu.com...howtopic=395743And I am pretty sure no$gba is dead more or less. Unless the rumor of 2.7 is true.

Right now I'm playing a Pokemon game. (DS game)I need to complete the "Pokedex" so I can move on.But the only way I can complete it is if I have Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Sapphire, or Ruby inserted. (GBA games)Is there a way to do that?

If you had the real thing then yes, however since you post in No$GBA thread you must have No$GBA so the answer is no, use Action Replay codes.Try CodeJunkies.com or Google it.

assuming that you are using no$gbaThe best way to get rune factory to work/run is to use version 2.6 of no$gba There seems to be some issues with no$gba 2.6a running rune factory

What version of no$gba are you using? Do you have the bios and the firmwire from the first post?

The topic seems to have been taken down, which is why the there is a quote:

Okay slightly less confusing explanation of what I did. You don't need a microphone to make this work. I have this free open source audio recording program called Audacity. In it you can select which source to record from in that drop down box from the top (as seen in the picture). It defaults to microphone, selecting Stereo/Mono mix makes it record from what's playing in your speakers. However instead of just just doing that, it seems to change what's being played directly into mic input in windows itself. Meaning if you leave it on Stereo/Mono Mix and close the program, put on some music and open anything else that records from the mic (teamspeak, windows sound recorder, skype) and you will notice it to will instead of grabbing mic input, grab what's being played. So if you don't have a mic, you can just leave it on Stereo Mix and any sound/music being played No$gba should think is mic input (as I said the music in Phoenix Wright 1 was good enough to blow away the fingerprint dust). Of course since mic input in No$gba only works if sound is on, you can't stop it from accepting the music as input at will (well you could probably just turn sound off for a second then turn it back on, I've no game that requires that to try it out on). This of course probably will make your mic useless, however simply setting the drop-down box in Audacity back to Microphone should make it work again in Windows. Hopefully that helps. Apparently Hiei-YYH and sigmax got this to work so hopefully it'll work for others.Super Simple explanation minus the reasoning or observations above. Get Audacity, select stereo mix in the drop down box as pictured. Close the program. No$gba will now pick up sound being played as mic input, the emulator's music will have some effect, play something in an audio player for more noise.
