It looks like Disgaea DS on the no$. It's fully playable.I,m wondering if the rom's working like it should of if it just the emulator. Here's two pics of the proble. The problem is that weird bars often appear occasionnaly and keep me from reading the text sometimes.before the title screen, first thing we see
in the game

So you're using 2.6a, so that's out of the question.... Where did you download the game actually? Because not all roms you can get from the internet are good dumps. The latest one which is in the 1st post. As I said, things were actually going smoothly when suddenly this dialogue box problem came.

2.6 or 2.6a? Domino asked if your using 2.6a, but you said your using 2.6, so which one is it?If you DO have 2.6a, then set your save type to "Auto". Is you have 2.6, then upgrade to 2.6a@DominoYes, I'm using 2.6 from the first page. Maybe i'm going somewhere wrong, if u could just outline the saving steps for the pokemon rescue team individually then that might work.

Don't forget 2 things when changing the settings though:1. If you change the save-type, restart the rom, of else you get the same error again2. Save you options after changing them, although you click on OK after you change settings ,you have to save them first. Or else the settings will be lost after closing no$gba. So change the settings and then go to options-->save options to ensure your settings will be the same after you close and start no$gba again.yes, i'm using 2.6a and it does work after setting in Auto.Thank u very much, i really appreciate it KHRS. ARIGATO!!! I guess this method goes same for all the Pokemon games as well.

Your settings are maxed, try lowering bit depth to 16 bit, sound output mode to Dual Mono, sound desired sample rate to 10 KHz. Also, if you don't have at least a Dual core processor, most likely no amount of anything will be enough. The sounds work just fine with the minimum settings on my friend's dual core, and, with your (highest) settings (with OpenGL as the renderer), it works fine on my Q6600 Core2 Quad. Also, might want to change "GBA mode" to Nintendo DS (in GBA mode), I think that's what offers highest compatibility for NDS ROMs (not 100% sure about this tho, but I use that without too many issues).Well I'm new to DS emulation but I've worked with emulators for NES,SNES,N64 etc. I'm currently using No%gba emulator and I've noticed that the sound quality is choppy with all games. Is this normal for DS emulators or are my settings just bad.Should I try other DS emulators or is the sound quality consistent among emulators.its No$gba 2.6a

I mentioned the minimum audio/video settings in my prev. post already (even tho never used the VGA poppy backlight setting), unless you're prepared to disable sound completely for the sake of a framerate boost (in which case set Sound output mode to "None"). If you're using a solo processor (P4/Celeron), there's not much you can do without upgrading your processor first. Especially if you're playing Pokemon Pearl/Diamond. And of course it runs faster at the menu coz there's much less to render in those screens, less CPU usage. You can also try overclocking your CPU if your BIOS allows it, but it's usually not a very safe thing to do (you might end up frying your processor).EDIT:The rom runs, but only at about 30% which makes the sound terrible. When I open the menu, it runs at about 70-80%. I was wondering if anyone found any settings that make it run optimally?
Nope, THIS is the right oneErrr, wrong topic. Sorry. Oops
