I downloaded ideas 1.0.2.2 and tried it already, but the text still can't be seen. Am I missing something?POINTS were deducted for this post by Channel28Please refer to the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted. This problem is already known, use ideas instead of no$gba and it will run fine. You can download ideas from the pinned topics.

That's a problem with the emulator, you can't do anything about it. Don't ask when the latest version comes out though, because the maker of no$gba has abandoned the project and the 2.7 versions that are out on the internet are fake and might ruin your computerim having a problem w/ fire emblem: shadow dragonso here's the deal. when its the prelude to the chapter the message isnt showing up. its just white but in the upper screen but its alright at the touch screen. also, when im battling, the sounds of weapons dont come up when my characters hit the enemy. its not freezing up anything though. is there a fix to this?
You need to set the right save-type for games. This is however, a problem with the older versions of no$gba, you can download the latest version (2.6a) from the pinned topics. If games still give you this error, then set it manually by going to options-->emulation options and changing the "nds backup data". Then press ok and restart the rom (or press *) and it will work.im using the emulator but every game says "could not read data. please power off and reinsert game card". the starting bit of the games actually plays but after that i can't continue. please help

If you want to play an NDS rom, click on Cartridge Menu (Filename). And go to the folder where you keep your NDS roms. You know how, when you open up No$gba and try to open a rom, it gives you that screen with a list? And how it says that, if what you are looking for ISN'T on the list, you can find it with that directory button? How do you put a rom on the list? (It gives you some basic instructions on making a listfile, but I have no idea how it works)

They're compressed files, done to save space. You have to extract them first with a program like 7-Zip.I have a question about the roms. Why is it that some roms are not .nds files, but .7Z files or .rar files. and they won't play on no$gba emulator. do they just not work with that emulator, or what.

I know how to open roms, but how do I create a listfile so they'll appear on that list? Just for convenience, because it's a feature available to me. Anybody know?If you want to play an NDS rom, click on Cartridge Menu (Filename). And go to the folder where you keep your NDS roms.

You manually edit the Files.lst file with entries for ROMs. The format of entries will have to beTitle>path_of_the_ROMPaths can be absolute or relative to the dir where NO$GBA.exe is located. Don't remember for sure, but paths probably CAN'T have spaces in it, otherwise NO$GBA will read them wrong. Example:You know how, when you open up No$gba and try to open a rom, it gives you that screen with a list? And how it says that, if what you are looking for ISN'T on the list, you can find it with that directory button? How do you put a rom on the list? (It gives you some basic instructions on making a listfile, but I have no idea how it works)
Digimon World: Dawn>Games\DigiDawn.ndsDigimon World: Dusk>Games\DigiDusk.ndsPokemon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Darkness>Games\PokemonMysteryDungeon-ExplorersofDarkness[USA].ndsJump Ultimate Stars>Games\jump.ndsCastlevania: Order of Ecclesia>Games\xpa-cvoe.nds(I use the "Games" subfolder for ROMs, not the SLOT folder, that's why my lst file looks like that)EDIT: Oh, and be sure to put the lst file in the same folder as NO$GBA.exe.
