No, it doesn't. You'll just have to use someone elses cheats, or find another way to find your own cheats.I haven't use No$gba before. My question is, does No$gba has the same memory search ability for creating cheat codes like VBA does?

I'm pretty sure that this has been aske but what is the slot folder for?
... Was answered a few pages agoIt's like the battery folder, except for save states. But save states only work for the GBA function of no$gba. If you try to use them for NDS games, it'll crash no$gba.

Pretty much the reason why it goes faster is that you have a quad core processor, which can handle 4x the operations (baring proper configuration) then your single core can. So even though it's a lower speed, you can wax the crap out of that 2.8 easily. That's one of the reasons why computer specs are worthless.I have an important question that no one has yet to say for this entire operation of this forum for several years...and counting. This question should have been mentioned in the first post of this long thread or mentioned in a sticky thread of the NDS section:What's the actual system requirements to run "no$gba" or any other NDS emulator? My specs for my old computer can't seem to play it right and it runs very slowly: Pentium 4 2.8 ghz single core, 2GB RAM, 256MB GeForce 6200LEWhen I played with my new computer: Core 2 Quad 2.33ghz, 4 GB and 512 GeForce 9500 GT; no$gba ran the best and it worked smoothly. Other NDS emulators have some trouble with the functioning when loading NDS roms but the latest version "no$gba" works really well.
No. You can't link NDS and GBA games in no$gba at this time.So if were to say, play LG, on DS, then go to Pal Park on Diamond, could I have access to pal park and the pokemon in LG?

Just use no$gba and set to AUTO. Save type listed on that page is not NONE, but n/a (meaning not available), meaning they don't have a listing of it offhand. The listing there is generally reliable, but you have to pay attention nonetheless.(If you're not using no$gba 2.6a, the save type is EEPROM (64Kbit) according to other entries. In no$gba this should be EEPROM 8KBytes.)Hi, I'm new here and I've tried using the guide to help me save the game for:Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney (U) by LegacyI went to the Emulator settings for the save state, and according to this link: LINK I set it as NONE in the "NDS Cartridge Backup Media". For the GBA Cartridge Backup Media it is on AUTO. I think I might be missing something? =\

Thanks alot, I found out that the one I was using was just no$gba. Not the 2.6a one. So it didn't provide the auto setting for Save type.I downloaded the 2.6a one and it works!Just use no$gba and set to AUTO. In no$gba this should be EEPROM 8KBytes.)

# STEP 5: Save type * it can be skipped if you use v2.6a and above but just in case, read below for troubleshooting * If you encounter an error saying something along the lines of "failed to read data" or "reinsert cartridge", just go to Options -> Emulation Setup and under NDS Backup Media, choose the correct save type. * You can find the save type at PocketHeaven or at dualscene. * If the information is not available, try all possible save types until you find the good one (tip: EEPROM 64KBytes is the most used as of yet, start with this one). * Save the setting (Options -> Save options) so that the save type is saved. * Go to File -> Reset Cartridge. If you skip out this step, the rom still won't save. The rom must be reset for the new save type to take effect. Now you have in game save support. * If saving still doesn't work, try using the size eight times smaller than the one listed. For example, EEPROM 64kb (notice the lower case 'b') is the same as EEPROM 8kB (notice the upper case 'B'). This is because there are eight bits ('b') in every byte ('B'). This a chart for save types. EEPROM - 4Kbit = EEPROM 0.5KBytes EEPROM - 64Kbit = EEPROM 8KBytes EEPROM - 512Kbit = EEPROM 64KBytes FLASH 2048Kbit(2Mbit) = FLASH 256KBytes FLASH 4096Kbit(4Mbit) = FLASH 512KBytes FRAM 256Kbit = FRAM 32KByte
