Game works fine with me and saving too. You probably have an older version of no$gba, download the latest version (2.6a) and it will save. If it still doesn't you need to start up a rom with no$gba and go to options-->emulation options and set the nds Backup type to auto and press ok, to save the setting go to options--> save options and reset the game and it will probably save. If it still won't save you need to set the save-type manually, you can use a site from the first page to search up the right save-type. Set the right save-type and start up the game, this way it will work for sure (don't forget to change the setting the everytime you start up no$gba and resetting the rom, because if you don't you will not be able to save)

oh, thank you very much! ^^ I didn't know what version I was using since the 2.6a that I used was deleted along with my other files when the computer was reformatted... And my bro downloaded a new one and he doesn't know what version it was lol... thank you very much ^u^

If you want to check the current version of any program you can go in most cases to help-->about, you'll get a (splash-)screen and it will show oyu the version of the program in most cases.(I know off topic).

Q: Can No$gba play Pokemon Diamond and Pearl?A: Yes. The sound needs to be turn on when you enter a battle.

This has been said at least 50 times, on previous pages, and even in the first post.

Is it possible to play GBA games on No$GBA? Also, how does the "number of emulated gameboys" function work? Can you open multiple games? Sorry if any of these questions were already asked, the search function doesn't work, and I don't feel like searching thru 200 pages and multiple threads manually. THANKS!

The multiple games function allows you to have multiple sessions of the game. Like for instance, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror allowed for linking up to 4 copies of the game for multiplayer. So if you can stand having 4 people huddles around 1 screen (and you have controllers), then you can do multiplayer.

So the game has to have a specific multiplayer function for it to work?EDIT (don't wanna make a new post): Great! Thanks a lot!

You can use GBA games single player, but if you want to play with friends on one pc you can use the option multiple games, there's a topic on playing Gba games with no$gba in the gba emulation section, which also covers multi-player here's a direct link to it: http://www.dgemu.com...howtopic=322951FYI: Like stated in the first post, you cannot emulate gba games that are in the 2nd slot while playing an nds game. So if you want to migrate pokémon for example in DPP you cannot do this unless you use a flashcart or the actual games.

I can't access the sinnoh underground in Pokemon Platinum. Every time I tried to go in, I get a connection error problem. At first I thought it was different from diamond and you had to have a wifi connection to get in. Is it the same case or does that mean I just can't get in the underground?

As far as I know, you need wifi for Sinnoh underground, and there's no emulator with Wifi.

HelloFor some reason my Yu-Gi-Oh roms (World Championship 2008 and Stardust Accelerator) produce a static noise. I'm using the latest No$. The static is in line with the volume and goes away when I mute the emulator, so it's like the sound effects have a static feedback to them. Playing with the sample rate hasn't helped. Any ideas how to fix it?Thanks lads

No$Gba Noise Remover--Warning this application may cause an unstable system and may result in a system crash use at OWN risk--Removes noise in games, you need to download the VC++2008 runtime first from the microsoft website. Download the file and extract the .rar file. Run no$gba and load a rom, then start up a.exe. While using the emulator you can press L+SELECT (buttons you set in the emulator) to remove current noise (sometimes it makes the noise worse) and press R+SELECT to restore the default settings

Do you mean this is your problem? If it is , read this quote.

I'm trying to use the application but it's not working. I open the rom, start a.exe, and it closes after a few seconds. L+Select doesn't do anything. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. And I did install VC++2008.

I downloaded V++2008 from the microsoft website. It gave me a setup file, which I ran and installed.I downloaded the Noise Remover .rar from the given link. I unrared "Tool.rar" and got a few folders, one of which contains a.exe.App doesn't work though. I'm lost.EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. You have run no$mooz and open the ROM from there. It works just like the regular emulator, then when you run a.exe it'll remove the noise.EDIT2: Ah, much better.

No. Multiplayer with NDS requires Wifi. And No$ doesn't support Wifi.

Well, I know this is probably in the 200 and soemthing pages here but I'm already alittle annoyed trying to get it to work. Anyway, i've tried setting up the save type first just in case its being caused by 2.6's auto-select. Ironically so, I'm still having problems making it actually save. Its not the rom either because I've had newer roms do it and not older ones. This being said I'd like to ask for some help since both the newer roms I've tried to play do this. Super Robot Taisen K and Valkyrie Profile: Covent of the Plume both do the same thing. I save the game with it on auto-select which should pick out the propper save type but theres no error most of the time. However with SRT K I've only gotten one once when the emulator picked the wrong save type with auto-select. The main problem is that it saves only till I shut no$gba 2.6 and when I try to play again later its as if the emulator picked out the wrong save file or I never saved the game. I'm starting to also wonder if its because the save files are in a different folder because no$gba 2.6 puts them there then cant find them later. If anyone knows anything that can help with this because I've tried all the save types and the 0.5 one work but acts as if it never found the save file and keeps over writing the old save file with a new one. I just hope its not something like I'd have to go back to 2.5 just to stop that... really don't want to have to have both version just to play DS games.

I skimmed through the guide so I apologize if I missed this but...I have no$gba2.6a and I have been playing Pokemon Diamond without any problems until I tried to load from my saved file. I have about 19 hours into it and had not closed the emulator until now. When I try to boot up the saved file, it stays on a black screen and does nothing.Any way to fix this? I hope I'm not screwed, I have 19 hours, 7 gym badges and a team of level 40 Pokemon. :)Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.PS: If I am in the wrong place, please direct me to the correct forum/thread, no need for warns here. >_>

So I tried to play Lux-Pain, and when the characters begin to talk their mouth animation isn't aligned together, making the 2nd frame of the talking animation appear above where their mouth location is. Anyway, attempting to try and fix, I discovered that by changing to the opengl 3D renderer it aligns it properly because for some reason the nocash 3D renderer stretches the picture, causing the misalignment. With the opengl 3D renderer, the game moves to slow to actually play, so I was wondering if there is anyway to fix this. Also, I tried downloading everything again already, just in case there was something messed up, but that didn't work, and I'm using no$gba 2.6a.Any help will be greatly appreciated.[edit]Also, I would like to add that if anyone has it working completely can you at least tell me, so I at least know its possible to fix.

I also have this problem and asked about it earlier (in the wrong place, my apologies, also he/she worded this a lot better :)).I tried using NO$WTT which was suggested earlier in this topic, but it doesn't seem to help the slowdown of OpenGL.Is there no solution?

Nevermind, I got tired of waiting for a reply and went ahead and started a new game. At least this time around I'll be able to optimize my Pokemon better and choose a different starter. Thanks anyway.

You can also try to change the emulation speed, start up a rom with no$gba and go to options-->emulation options in the upper left you'll see the drop-down menu called "Emulation speed, LCD refresh" try to change that setting a few times and see what happens. You can also use no$wtt in combination with this setting. Try to change the settings a bit and see if it works.
