1. The answer is [a]. RAM has actually not much influence on the speed and your CPU is already powerful enough.2. I'll check later. I don't have the rom for the moment.Hello, 2 quick questions I was hoping someone could help me with:1. Final Fantasy CC "Ring of Fates" - When I open the ROM, the game shoots off at ~200% speed during the opening movie, then as soon as I select "New Game" and the first event tries to start, the speed gets knocked off to ~50%. I have a decent computer (2.51GHz, 1GB RAM); tried it on both 2.5b and 2.5c for same results (Speed at Real-Time; doubling speed doesn't do much, halving speed just makes the OP movie run at 100% and the event still only runs at 50%). Does this mean (a) the game is not really supported on No$GBA and thus in the future, the problem might get solved; or [b] the game seriously does need 2GB of RAM to friggin run?2. Gyakuten Saiban 4 - It appears to fail to run; in that the emulator simply does not recognize the ROM file (says something about the lack of entry points). No blank screen, no nothing, just a blatant error message followed by the emulator closing itself saying the ROM-image crashed. Is it just my ROM that's damaged, or has anyone else also encountered a similar error?Edit: Got rid of unwanted smilies popping up in the text.

The game is just quite slow in the beginning so that you have to wait a dozen of seconds and press in the same time "start" to make some text appear. Make sure you have EEPROM 64 KB as save type.hey just some small questionWhen I try to run DQ IV, the screen turns black. I followed everything this thread said so I downloaded BIOS and FIRMWARE and there is no problem with my save type.
Patches don't increase speed. In many cases, computer performance is not the limiting factor. It's just that No$gba is not optimized for many games so that however powerful your computer is, the game still runs quite slow.I am not sure if you aleady did this but the latest version has made huge improvement in terms of speed. If you were using an earlier version, switch to the last one.I have a concern with some slowdown I'm experiencing with this emulator. Even though my computer can handle many mid/high level computer games well, it can only run rune factory for around 10 minutes perfectly before the framerate gets a kick in the balls and falls to unplayable levels. Is there any way I can improve the performance, I've closed all other programs. And generally speaking, does each patch of this emulator increase game speed, or do patches tend to fix glitches and smaller things? Thanks

Alright, so I'm hoping that in a few more versions, the improvements in speed will continue.Patches don't increase speed. In many cases, computer performance is not the limiting factor. It's just that No$gba is not optimized for many games so that however powerful your computer is, the game still runs quite slow.I am not sure if you aleady did this but the latest version has made huge improvement in terms of speed. The game is still black even after you start a new game and select your character name. You can hear it, but cant see it.The game is just quite slow in the beginning so that you have to wait a dozen of seconds and press in the same time "start" to make some text appear. Make sure you have EEPROM 64 KB as save type.
