So,the nocash renderer is better than OpenGL or each of them has its own speciality on fixing some problem and increasing the speed of the emulator(No$gba).those are parts of the changes to the new system. OpenGL allows it to function like the previous versions of the emulator. Use the nocash renderer for it to fix some of the problems in previous games like megaman starforce. Basically the 3D renderer is one of the new sections of emulator along with increased speed.

We had a discussion with the staff and the decision to release it in public was approved by the majority. There are several reasons that are more or less valid:1. If we don't release it, others will do it and there were already several sites who did it when we get the copy. Though honnestly I don't find this reason very convincing from a moral point of view, the results are the same.2. As I once wrote on Emutalk about Ensata, emulators are not more legal than rom since they basically copy the real system. It's the same as someone trying to copy a real Vuittton bag, even if he did it by himself. When no money is involved, the illegality matter is much less important than when someone is trying to make money out of it. I personally encourage donation to No$gba but donation as its definition indicates has to be done with free will. The system Martin has now is no less than commercially selling the last version of his emulator, it's no more voluntary donation.3. We are a rom site that provides free roms that should be otherwise paid. Unlike many other emulation sites, we don't try to be hypocritical saying things like "we suppose you dumped your rom yourself", which everybody knows is false in 99.99% of the case. And since we leak free rom from Nintendo already, there is no reason to hold for an emulator.4. To be honnest, I started the discussion with the staff because I wasn't feeling entirely right with releasing this version in public. However, we are all in the emulation community and as such I don't think we have any right to lecture others about "stealing" since what we do all day is basically stealing. Of course, you know Martin and feel sorry for him but for my part, I know also some Nintendo's shareholders who are losing money because of emulation sites*. Do I feel the urge of ranting and lecturing people not to download roms? And no, not all shareholders are rich people, the majority of them just saved money their entire life to buy some shares to help them living correctly once they retire.*by emulation sites, I include rom and non rom providing sites. Sites providing roms are obviously causing harm but sites providing just emulation support are too in that they encourage people to do so even if their "honnest" disclaimer says "we suppose you dumped your rom yourself".So in the end, this leaked version will stay on DGEmu. If Martin has other ways to prevent us, it's his right to do so.Why do you release this version to public ? Dont you respect no$gba developer ? Okay.. He is going to prevent it with a key in the near future because of leaking and cheating. He is disappointment now. Jeez. That's not very nice, you know.

Because you dont know how to use it. Use your conception.Do not complaint against no$gba developer. You should pay for it and the no cash mean it is still free when 2.7 is out but 2.6, 2.6a and so on before 2.7 will released to donators who donated once and do not donate again which get it before you people until 2.7 is reach. He is doing a great job because he is full time job on this emulator and if you complaint then go and get nintendo ds and it is not for you, light up! ^_^Ody, I am curious why did you release this version to the public ? I think it is not very wise things to do. They should donate it to him and his project will get better and without money then his project will be dead in the water. I don't think it is very cool of you to release it. He knows it already and I dont know what his react is and I wait for his email to see what's going on with those people being foolish to leak things like that. The people released the leak of Magic Engine for PC Engine emulator and I wont get it anyway. I am using Ootake emulator as pc engine/turbo grfax 16 emulator and it is freeware and much better than Magic Engine. Think about it, oh well. I guess not. We need to be honest about that.the 3d images shows black lines [in some games{with nocash 3d render}], the speed as same as the v2.5C [with OpenGL 3d render] ,and why should i pay for it... it is 'NO CASH' right

As I said, the decision was made with the majority of the staff. I had at first mixed feelings about this but since 80% of the staff was in favor of releasing it in public, I stand by the majority. And the reasons were mentioned in my previous post:http://www.dgemu.com...a...t&p=3788489Ody, I am curious why did you release this version to the public ? I think it is not very wise things to do. I agree, you got the same with films, you can get it for money and you can get (illegally) for free and they still make them. Also found a glitch in megaman star force (Pegasus), sometimes the waveroads and b. cards you can't select get a strange colour, it's bothersome, but not a great deal. Now, no more further discussion on the matter. The staff has collectively made a decision. The emulator link will stay in the pinned topics. Further discussion of this matter will result in point deductions. If you feel you want to support no$gba development, just shut up and donate.

This one I totally agreed with you so I guess we can move on and starting test for this wonderfully emulator 2.6 version, shall we ?So you may think it's fine for him to charge us for his work, it's technically borderline illegal since he's giving us a way to circumvent having to buy a real Nintendo DS, which costs Nintendo money.

What is this emoticonBefore anyone deducts points or penalizes me for this post, READ IT CAREFULLY. I am playing pokemon pearl. YES, i carefully read the instructions in the forum. YES, i downloaded Nds2xgl, the firmware, and the bios files. AND YES, i changed the NDS cartdriged backup data speed to 512flash (the required speed for the game). After doing all this, i started a new game on Pokemon Pearl. As soon as I could towards the begining of the game, i saved it. To see if my game was saved, i reset the rom. It was saved, however, when I cliked on the saved game, a BLACK SCREEN (i know u guys hate to hear this term) popped up and I thought my saved game was still loading. But, even as am typing this reply, my game is still on the black screen...HELP

yea, I pressed "x" in the game...i saw in previous posts that no$gba couldn't save with snapshots so i did it the regular way. But, recently, I just downloaded Pokemon Diamond from another website to see if it would work and it actually did! so i don't know if it was a problem with the Pokemon Pearl rom or not...How did you save? Did you press 'X' in the game and then save or did you ress File->Save Snapshot?
