My sound is always on when i play. But i used Realtime * 2, so i can move on fast. When i save, its also Realtime * 2.But the microphone wave failure thing still comes out. But its after i proceed the game quite far from the start. It just happens randomly.

Okay so Im sorry if this question has been asked recently and I don't want to lose anymore points, because Im quite lacking in that department, but is there a definite way to save on pokemon diamond? I read the post a few pages back about changing the firmware settings: Rename the file NO$GBA.INP to firmware.bin. Does this work? I could only find a reply saying that it didnt.

Can it load rom files from its 'SLOTS' folder?I mean in pokemon diamond - pearl you need pokemon game/rom from gba to make some pokemon appear in the wild.and how does it works?thanks

More trouble with Apollo Justice. Whenever I try to use the in-game save screen it will say "Save failed" instead of "Game saved."(Also, I tried just not turning off the emulator, ever, to avoid having to save, and the speed eventually dipped down to ~25% and stayed there. Is that just a normal problem from having the emulator running too long?)Problem solved. ^^; Sorry about the trouble.

Sorry if this has been asked before.I have a decent computer that runs this emulator with Pokemon Pearl without a problem (no lag at all). However, each time I finish the first battle (the one with a Starly after you get to choose your starter), the game freezes. My starter and Starly is still on the screen, no EXP points have been rewarded yet; it's just stuck before the battle can end.Does anyone have a fix for this?Edit: Never mind. I found what I was looking for a few pages back ¬¬... just turn the sound on. Thanks for all the help in this topic though!

Okay, I did all the stuff one here, and now I have to set the settings to Unlimited MHz Disaster, 10% or it comes up with a whitescreen. The sound is also not working...big problem there.

I'd like a little clarification on the iffy-ness of the microphone feature. For me, it isn't working, like the first page said it might not. Is there any particular reason why? (i.e., is it because of my microphone/computer/something else? Is there a chance it will work if I try again later?) Basically - is there anything I can do about this?

Try configuring your mic in the control Panel. If it doesn't work,it maybe your game

I'm getting some static in the background on Yugioh WC 2008. I've tried all the different sound options and the only way it works is if I turn the sound off completely. Is there anything to remedy this problem while still having the sound on?

Make sure you are using the correct save type. And for the sound part ...You need to change the sound output mode to Digital Mono ...That might solve the problem

Are you using the latest NO$GBA emulator..If not then try using the latest one...If it still does not solve the problem then I think you need to wait till the next version is released

Sorry if this was asked elsewhere, but I searched and didn't find anything. I just played Pokemon diamond on the newest no$gba (2.6) with the zoom app and I have a bunch of firmware in the same folder too. I saved ingame and using "write snapshot". When I restarted the emulator, the savedata was reset and when I "load snapshot", it says "the rom-image has crashed". Times like these make me regret wasting 2-3 hours of my life. Help would be greatly appreciated.

The snapshot doesn't work. Use the in-game save.

DON'T load from the "load snapshot", the game save will be loaded automatically without "load snapshot" as you starts the game

The snapshot doesn't work. Use the in-game save.

it may sometime not working

I'm using 2.6a, that's the latest as far as I can tell.Oh well, guess I'll have to play it without the beeps and moans. Runs faster anyway. Thanks C

I did save in-game, but for some random reason my no$gba crashed and when I opened Pokemon Diamond again, the game started all over again. :) Is there another emulator that can save appropriately?

If your save isn't there when you get back, it's probably because of the save type.Go to Options, Emulation Setup. Change the save type to Flash 512kB (under NDS Cartridge Backup Media). Click OK. Reset the rom, by right-clicking and selecting Reset. Go back to Options and select Save Options. Now you should be able to play, save in-game and load normally, even after closing the emulator.Note that different roms have different save types, so you need to change the save type for each rom that has a different save type. If this is the case, follow these directions to change the save type each time you start the emulator, but you can skip the Save Options step.

Also, what do you mean by crash? Make sure you have your sound on.

It says something about microphone input(?). Anyway, I tried Pearl and it's even worse. The game won't even load and an error says "cartridgenot found". I did what you told me and my save type is now Flash 512kB by default, but the problem persists.

Maybe the rom is patched. Download an unpatched version from this site, or from one of the sites listed under Other Rom Sites.About the microphone thing, according to Ody's previous posts in this thread, turn the sound off (select None under Options) and keep it off, except during battles.
