AHA! so you didn't use no$gba before! This is another kind of compression called RAR, just like ZIP files you need to extract it, but there's a complication, you need a special program to extract it. You need to search at google for a program called 7zip or peazip, they can handle way more compressions then windows can. Just download the file, if it's an .exe file you need to go to it and run it, you'll see an pop-up screen and you need to follow the instrucions. If it's a ZIP file then you need to extract it first and then you must run the .exe file. You get mostly after you installed the file a few new options that also include extract. Now right-click the no$gba.rar file and select extract file. You'll get a new folder containing the files needed to use no$gba, double-click the file with an A shaped icon called no$gba2.6a. A new window pops up called insert cartridge... go to the folder with the rom and double-click it, now you can play the game.Um...it looks like one more problem occured...when I double clicked the "No_gba2.6a.rar", it brings up another window that says "Windows cannot open this file:File: No_gba2.6a.rarTo open this file, Windows needs to know what program you want to use to open it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs that are installed on your computer. What do you want to do?O Use the Web service to find the correct programO Select a program from a list of installed programs"Thats exactly what it says...what am I supposed to do?

Whoa...that was way too complicated for me...I got lost quick. Isn't it just that I downloaded the wrong kind of No$gba or something? Because it doesn't seem like everyone else has to do all of that above...AHA! so you didn't use no$gba before! Just to elaborate a little, the color scheme you're looking for, tyga666, is VGA (poppy bright). That setting matches closest to iDeaS more vibrant colors, as well as of those from the actual handheld itself, if I'm not mistaken.I don't know what the colours at ideas are, but if you want to change the colours of the emulator, then go to options --> emulation setup and look at GBA mode, change the setting and press ok, then you'll notice that the colour will change. Now you can set it to any colour scheme for the rom you like.

hmm.... I think its impossible.I've been playing Harvest Moon DS on the No$GBA, but I discovered that to have some extra features, I would have to load Harvest Moon: FoMT (for GBA) on the DS's GBA Slot, and play HM:DS with the cartridge in it. Is that possible on No$GBA?
just try to make your computer "activity" become "busier"Is there any way to slow this emulator down? You know, get a 50% speed, that would help in Pokemon Ranger where if you want to win you have to be VERY precise and quick... I've tried the speed options bot none seems to slow it down.

It's impossible to use game features that require a gba gamepack in the 2nd slot. The only thing you CAN do with gba roms is linking 2 of themhmm.... I think its impossible.
I just like posting here, it feels good to help other people out.Huff... what a short answer, anyway i want to say thanks to 'shadowmanwkp' for some reason

I've got this too, I heard it's the speakers, but that can't be, version 2.4 didn't have the cracking sounds while playing while 2.6a does....@Omer91: Are you using auto?Is there any way to get the perfect sound for this emulator? Even with the best settings I can still hear audible stutters.

if you are talking about no$gba, the better your computer the faster your no$gba. But, if you are talking about Nds2xGL, its not compatibleis it compatible with vista? the current version can play all the game or only some?
hmm.. I can normally saves the game, did you download the rom from DGEmu ?[because i think the rom from DGEmu is much better than other.]I am trying out Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness and, when it comes time to save, the save always fails, and the game continues. Once I reset the game, obviously all the data is gone. What could be the problem? I tried all save types. Any help please? Much appreciated.

Yes, I did. And I will not play the game if it cannot save (thus my points and time wasted).hmm.. I can normally saves the game, did you download the rom from DGEmu ?[because i think the rom from DGEmu is much better than other.]

Strange at on person it does work and another person it doesn't (I don't have the rom from dgemu and I don't play it on no$gba). But you can try 2 things,- Set the save type manually- Download the rom again, or from another site (torrents highly reccomended)Yes, I did. And I will not play the game if it cannot save (thus my points and time wasted).
