err... may i say YES, you need 2.3 GHz or higher, but you can make it faster by changing the speed to 'Unlimited MGHz 10% / 50% / 100%' [click F11 and click the roll bar (or something) on the top left of the emulation setup menu]Hey, I'm playing Pokemon Diamond on No$gba 2.6a and whenever I get out of a house, the animation is really slow! Help! I have a Pentium IV 1.5GHz PC. (Is my PC too slow?)

it happend to me 2. have you tried starting the game with the correct savetype?cuz that was the problem with me.it could be that your savegame is corrupt or that kinda yada yada. then i can't help ya.Someone Please help! I'm in trouble. I have the latest version No$GBA 2.6a and I downloaded Megaman Starforce Dragon, but at the start i couldn't save. Eventually I found the correct save type and I tried it and was able to continue and load my game, but then after i closed starforce after playing for like 2 hours something went wrong. When I tried to turn it back on the No$GBA just had a black screen and crashed. I don't know what's wrong. Saving worked before how come it didn't work now? I didn't save state or anything I did in-game save. PLEase HELP! I can't even play any other game now it just keeps crashing.

Well, I looked it up on google, but I keep finding al these different types of it or something...does anyone have a link to the correct one?AHA! so you didn't use no$gba before! This is another kind of compression called RAR, just like ZIP files you need to extract it, but there's a complication, you need a special program to extract it. You need to search at google for a program called 7zip or peazip, they can handle way more compressions then windows can. Just download the file

thanks..no$GBA sucks for me, since I can't get the speed to go slower...Here's a direct quote from the first page.So you've got to wait for a more stable version to come out, but it doesn't really matter, the only thing NDS2xGL does is enlargen the screen and give it a few speed functions (which aren't that great).

Wouldn't it tell me if it was corrupt? And I already redownloaded No$GBA twice when this happened before. This time I know I have the correct save type because I actually was able to save and load my game once. But after that 1 time it never worked regardless of what save type it is. I can't even acess No$GBA menu without picking a rom and when I pick a rom it crashes and beocmes a black screen immediately. PLEASE HELPS SOMEONE! I actualy can't play anything with No$GBA now.... it's sad so bored. Oh one more thing does anyone know what No$GBA.INP is? It's on my desktop for some reason and i don't know what it does. Maybe my problem is located in that. And I don't know what slot or battery are either. They look like empty folders to me when you try to open them in the No$GBA menu.it happend to me 2. have you tried starting the game with the correct savetype?cuz that was the problem with me.it could be that your savegame is corrupt or that kinda yada yada. then i can't help ya.

The BATTERY folder is the folder where all the saves of you games are kept, don't toucht it, unless you want to use safe-files of somebody else. That .inp file on your desktop (isn't it an .ini file?) is used to run no$gba, so place it in the same folder as no$gba, and it should work properlyWouldn't it tell me if it was corrupt? Sorry, but you can't use this game with emulators (yet) so you'll have to wait for a new version to come out.when i play the world ends with you, all i can see is black people and the road. i can't see the text when the character is talking. and after a few events, the screen goes black and then stop playing. can we do something about this ?

The files on the desktop should not be causing this problem. Save state does not work with nds roms. You need to use in game save.Try this:-Download no$gba ver2.6a from the pinned topic-Create a new folder on your hard drive. ie C:\nogba-Extract the emulator into the the new folder.-Start the emulator and see if it works. If it works, you can copy your saves from your original folder where you had no$gba into this new folder.Could it be because I dragged the No$GBA out of the folder to put on my desktop so i would acess it easier and it made copies of those files? This happened before when I tried to save state, but I deleted the no$GBA and reinstalled it then it worked again. It worked up till the point where I found the correct save type for MEgaman Starforce Dragon and saved once then loaded it and exited the game which caused it to have the problem for every game afterwards. !!!!!
You need a program that can open zip and rar files. There are several programs (Winrar/7zip/peazip, etc) that can open these files. Everyone has their preferred program to open these files. You just need one program that can open both types. You can get Winrar, as Sephiromune's post says.Or you can get another program. After that, you will be able to open these files.I thought all I had to do was download one of those other two things...do I need them AND that? Or just that? And which of them on the list am I supposed to download?

Well the emulator is still being developed. Most people with decent PC have no problem with it.I have no doubt that this will work, but what if it happens again after I play Megaman Star Force Dragon once like it did before? Okay I just found out that it works for Megaman ZX now, but it still crashes when I try to play star force dragon.

Hey I have a decent PC I think. I think a pentium 4 with 512 ram is enough to run such a small program such as No$GBA. There's another problem too. I have a save file in my battery folder for Megaman ZX and I tried every save type and saved options for each one and it didn't work! None of them can load up my file.Well the emulator is still being developed. Most people with decent PC have no problem with it.

Hey Thanks it worked but now I'm even more scared because the last time saving worked on a rom it caused the whole thing to crash on every game afterwards. The save type is:1549 - Megaman ZX Advent (U) * Language: English * Save Type: EEPROM 8KBAfter you change the save type, you need to reset the emulator for the save type to change.Did you reset the emulator after you changed the save type?

If you're afraid of losing your savegame, then you can backup the file, go to the BATTERY folder and find the game's name (it's the same name as the rom but the with a .SAV extension), right-click and choose copy. Then go to a folder where you want the file or make a new folder called back-up or something and right-click and select paste. This way you can save without losing the copied save-file. If it does get corrupted, then just copy the back-upped file and paste it in the BATTERY folder.I also read that you drag-and-dropped no$gba to your desktop, you should'nt do that because then no$gba can't find the files to run. You should right-click no$gba instead and point on copy to and select to desktop (make shortcut) this way you can run the program without going to no$gba's folder.Yeah I did I tried 8kb already. THanks, but i still don't know why Megaman STarforce Dragon doesn't work. Anyone know the save type for pokemon diamond by the way? One more question. If I want to play different games and be able to save in them does that mean I have to change the save type every time I play a different game?If you're afraid of losing your savegame, then you can backup the file, go to the BATTERY folder and find the game's name (it's the same name as the rom but the with a .SAV extension), right-click and choose copy. Megaman Starforce Dragon should work. Ody has it listed as working.[ALL IN ONE] Popular NDS Roms Working on No$gbaTHanks, but i still don't know why Megaman STarforce Dragon doesn't work. Anyone know the save type for pokemon diamond by the way? One more question. If I want to play different games and be able to save in them does that mean I have to change the save type every time I play a different game?
If you have no$gba ver 2.6a, it has automatic save detection. If you want to manual change the save types, than you will have to change the save type every time you play a different game.1284 - Pokemon Diamond (U) * Language: English * Save Type: FLASH 512KB

So,if I'm correct, you tried to run a .SAV file on the emulator? So I started playing Advance Wars Days of Ruin on No$GBA v2.6 day before yesterday and it was running fine with the 256kb save. I tried to run it yesterday and it comes up in a dialog box Advance Wars Days of Ruin.SAV and OK. I click on OK and it closes the emulator. The .SAV file is in the battery folder but I still get the message about the .SAV file. I tried another rom and it ran fine. What's going on? Is there anything that could be done to fix this?
Click the first one on the list. Download/Install that and open your file, then extract the .nds file from there. Try running the .nds file on the emulator and it should work. Tell me if it works.*headdesk*Okay...I am getting more and more confused the more this is explained...I thought all I had to do was download one of those other two things...do I need them AND that? It didn't work... I downloaded, installed, opened the file, extracted (I think I did, it had 3 different choices of extracts), and I don't understand the last part of what you said...So,if I'm correct, you tried to run a .SAV file on the emulator?
Can't you just go 'back' and open the .nds file instead?Click the first one on the list. Download/Install that and open your file, then extract the .nds file from there. Try running the .nds file on the emulator and it should work. Tell me if it works.
