Whenever I exit the program and go back into it, the emulation and control settings are all reset, is there any way to stop this from happening?

It didn't work... I downloaded, installed, opened the file, extracted (I think I did, it had 3 different choices of extracts), and I don't understand the last part of what you said...

Well, if you've extracted the files without any problems, then just run it on the emulator and it should work! A .nds file is the file you're supposed to open to play the game. One of the files you extracted has to be a .nds file(unless there IS only one file), find and open THAT file and see if it runs. :)

So,if I'm correct, you tried to run a .SAV file on the emulator? :) Can't you just go 'back' and open the .nds file instead?

It was the .nds file I was trying to open. I just tried again and I got the same message that I was getting.

*sigh* ...I'm not even sure if I did extract the correct files...there seems to be countless combonations of things to play, extract, run, etc... And I still have trouble comprehending what you mean by "run it on the emulator"...I guess I'll post things specifically so I don't get more confused...I have 2 seperate folders for the games I downloaded, and 1 called Nds2x. Inside the Nds2x thing, I have Debug DLL, NDS2xGL2, Nds2xGL2.cfg, NDS2xGL2.ds.gba, nds-savetypes, and Remote.dll

You did not extract the emulator. You have the NDS2xGL, which is just an add on to the emulator. For now, you can skip this. Let first get you running the emulator before we start to use the add on.1)Download this:http://www.dgemu.com...FNo_gba2.6a.rar2)Extract file from the rar file:You should have two files in your folder.no$gba.exeDS.rar3)Extract files from the DS.rar which has zip files as well:After doing all the extracting, you should have these files:biosnds7.rombiosnds9.romds_firmware.bin4)Create a folder that has:no$gba.exebiosnds7.rombiosnds9.romds_firmware.bin5)Download a DS game and extract the nds file:You should have.-Name of the game-.nds6) Click on the no$gba.exe.You will get a window to Inset Cartridge. Go to where you have your nds file on your computer and Click Open after you select it.Your emulator should be working now, if not look at step 9.Now that the emulator is installed and running, we can talk about the add on NDS2xGL now. Close the emulator.7) Extract the files form Nds2x.zip into the same folder as no$gba.8) Click on NDS2XGL2.exeNow if you followed the directions, you should have the add on working, if not look at step 9.9) If not, please take a screenshot of what you have in the folder or error message and post it to imageshack and post it here and say where you have gotten lost in this direction.

Sadly, I have no computer program to take a screenshot, nor do I have anything to do so with outside of it...and I never could figure out how to use imageshack, just like megaupload...anyway...I replaced the old download (meaning I already have that file) but I absolutely o no know what you mean by "extract file from the rar file", I also don't know what/where the rar file is...nor do I know which "extract" to use. (Seeing as I see extract files, extract here, and extract to No_gba2.6a/)

You just press the key that say Print Scrn and open MSPaint and paste it. After that, you save it.imageshack is easy to use. You go the site and upload the image that you saved.Let skip imgeshack for now.I gave you the link where the rar file is (step 1). You should have download it to your computer.Select the extract here (Step 2). It will extract the files to the folder where you have the rar/zip file. EDIT:After that go to Step 3.

So does anyone know how to solve my Megaman Starforce Dragon problem? I have the right save type and got it working before, but now it just crashes the No$GBA every time I try to play that game.

Sorry my bad. Guess what?I got the same problem with Mario Party DS, luckily I just started playing, so I deleted the SAV file and it worked fine.

Did you download the rom from dgemu.com? Because this can happen because it's a bad rom which is unstable and therefore won't work with no$gba(I'm back again people and the pc I usually work on internet with has a good connection again at last!)

I got a solution for some [not all] newcomer games. all of you, try to use the v2.6 [the older version of 2.6a], it works for 'Rondo Sword', 'SD Gundam G gen', and other games. if still not working, wait for the newer version.

You can get no$gba for free here: http://www.dgemu.com...showtopic=68847Most games run smoothly on the latest version but not all of them. And there are glitches here and there but its the best you'll do without a flash cart.

There's a bug with drone tactics using no$gba v. 2.6a and I was wondering if there's a fix for it. At first the game was working perfectly fine except one time the game froze and I had to reset it in the middle of a battle, I could get past this part eventually but now, at the beginning of chapter 6 when the 2 subordinates are talking, right after the 2nd guy says "I'll put her on" or something like that. (accepting a radio message from Elisha) The game will freeze. I have tried to reset the emulator but the game always freezes at this point. Is there someway to get past this?i'm also getting a crash error with Pokemon diamond, The game will freeze after I kill the starly in the 1st battle of the game, I have my settings and everything correctly, (save type auto, Backup media on auto) (everything else is default)

responding to cursed light's post, My problem is Drone tactics freezes at the beginning of chapter 6, and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Freezes at the 1st battle vs. the starly.Using no$gba v. 2.6aEmulation Speed, LCD Refresh: Realtime, AutoSound Output Mode: None(fastest)Reset/Startup Entry point: Start Cartridge directlySound Desired Sample Rate: High (44KHZ) (bets)Video Output: 24bit True3D Renderer: nocashMultibootPort: None/DisabledGBA mode: GBA SP(backlight)Multiboot Normal/BurstDelays: Medium/Medium (stable)GBA Cartridge Backup Media: AutoNumber of Emulated Gameboys: 1NDS-Cartridge Backup Media: AutoLink Gamepaks: Gamepaks in all GBAsSolar Sensor Level: DarknessLink Cable Type: AutomaticMy computer specs:Windows Vista OS, 2 gigs RAM, 256 MB graphics card, 1.8 GHZ dual core processor. Can play most roms at ~80~100% except for advance wars: days of ruin which only runs ~40~80% speedbtw KitsuneK do you have your sound on Mono or Stereo?alright i've tested the sound thing on drone tactics and it works(I used Stereo) Thx KitsuneK. I really like drone tactics so that was my main priority. I'll try it on pokemon later but I think it should work considering all the MODS and ADmins say diamond/pearl work PERFECTLY on the no$gba.

This is not a really big deal question.Does Emulating while your web browser is open/minimize contribute to crashing of the game? Also has there any word from the creators for a new update?
