Well that's kind of an easy one.. I mean DMC 1 and 2 were good and all but neither of them stack up to 3.. Now although 1 did introduce us to Dante.. it wasn't until 3 when they hit the mark.. Adding the style ranking system and an arsenal of weapons to use made it one of the best.

Third game was the best because they had 2 previous games to learn what was good and what was bad.

My faverite so far is good ol' number one. Three is good, but I don't think it has what it takes to be remembered or remain as popular as it is after DMC4 is released. I think most it's fame is due only to it being the most recent game in the series.]DMC3 is still a REALLY good game though.

Well, seeing as Devil May Cry 4 has been out for a while now, I'll have to place 'em in this ranking: 1. Devil May Cry 4 2. Devil May Cry 3 3. Devil May Cry 1 4. Devil May Cry 2 I always have a very hard time deciding between DMC3 and DMC4. Both games rock hard!

Haven't played 2 yet but liked 3's story a bit better than 1. They were both challenging.
